  1. Hey! How is everyone doing?? I hit the 100 pounds lost mark today!! Only 5 more pounds til I reach my goal weight
  2. Hi everyone! This is the first time for me posting in this forum. My surgery is set for June 29th. Anyone on or around that date that wants to follow each other's progress? I start the 2 week pre op diet tomorrow...kinda had a food funeral this weekend.
  3. When I get up I get lightheaded now. Idk if it's from surgery or not, but it lasts for a few seconds then goes away. I'm having a hard time remembering my vitamins! So bad!! Down 75 pounds since surgery and I actually fit into cute clothes at target now!! So exciting! I also noticed that some days I'm so hungry, while other days I could care less if I eat. Still small portions which is fantastic, but my eyes are still bigger than my stomach.
  4. It is worth every but of anxiety, insure you. It has been almost 5 months and not a day goes by that I don't wish I did it sooner!! Good luck!

  6. I haven't choked, but vibe gotten things stuck as they call it. Only option for instant relief is to make yourself vomit.
  7. How is everyone doing? I'm down to 195 pounds and starting to feel comfortable in my own skin again. Thank God! I am noticing that my hair is falling out more than it used to, so I'm going to include Biotin in my daily regimen of vitamins. I also need to drink mor water! My skin is so dry when I wear black pants it looks like the insides of the legs have snow on them because my skin is so dried out! Oh well, it's all fixable. I have no regrets about surgery. I would do it again in a heartbeat, but I'm not going to!

  9. Oh no!! Feel better!! That's really strange, especially since we are all pretty much healed and it was soup! I dump from tortilla chips, but not to the point of vomiting. I have yet to throw up! I hope you find relief soon.
  10. You look great!! I can definitely see it!! I myself am down 47 pounds as of today! I have reached the weight I was pre pregnancies!! I've noticed that when I get my period I plateau, so I'm thinking this is going to be the new norm. My next goal is to 199 pounds. Small goals help me. I do not like red meat anymore and cheese makes me get the dumping syndrome. So I guess it's good that I can't tolerate those because they aren't that great for me anyway. I went to the dr for my follow up and he said I was doing well, but my bloodwork was not good at all. (This is because I wasn't taking vitamins). Since then, I have been taking them and I notice a difference in my complexion. I was very pale and now I'm starting to get my color back. So hopefully that means my levels are stabilizing. It was a rude awakening for me because my bloodwork has never been off, always perfect. So when I saw how low my levels were, reality set in that I'm not invincible. Keep up the great work!!
  11. Went yesterday for my follow up. I've lost 46 pounds so far, but my blood work levels are dangerously low (doc's exact words). My thiamine (B1) is >7 and my vitamin A is low as well. Hmmm...maybe it's because I'm not taking my vitamins daily. Ugh. I hate them but now I'm staying on top of it. That was a dose of reality for me. I've never had problems with my blood work before. Thought maybe they'd stay that way and I was "invincible". Boy was I wrong! I might be losing the weight, but you can't lose more weight once you're dead!
  12. I'm good!! I've lost 40 pounds so far. Reached a goal today by getting to weight I was when I got married!! I set small goals for myself to keep going and it's working. How about you?
  13. I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. This needs to stop. I've been looking forward to it for weeks now and I don't want to feel crappy. The entire time ????
  14. So every time I eat now I'm either nauseous, throw up, or feel really crappy afterward. Ugh!!! I don't want to eat!!!
  15. Awesome!! I'm so happy for both of you! I had a turkey burger and I don't think I will ever eat one again. Disgusting! I really want some juicy watermelon!
  16. So I've lost a total of 33 pounds since the prep diet. My one month pre-op appointment is tomorrow and I'm hoping the doctor says I'm doing well. I'm 2 pounds away from pre-pregnancy weight with my second child and 14 pounds away from pre-pregnancy with my first child. Seems like such a long way to go, but I know I will get there and then some!! How is everyone else doing? I'm getting tired of the same old foods. Chicken meatballs are gross to me now. Hope you all are happy with your progress so far.
  17. Mine just stopped after like 3 weeks of having it! It was so annoying! I was about to go to the dr because I thought something was wrong.
  18. I want a plum so bad!!! I'm a little intimidated by the sugar though considering I dumped from a smoothie 2 weeks ago. It could've been bc it was so early though. Going to the dr on Monday. I'm going to ask them then.
  19. I went out and walked today!! Found a beautiful walking trail in my hometown that is dog friendly! God, it felt so good to move again and not have any pain. My hips would bother me before. Now, nothing. Gonna try to do it again tomorrow.

  22. I just read this entire forum from beginning to end and it's so cool to see how far we've come. 4 weeks ago we were so scared to do this and now looking back it wasn't that bad. Now we are slowly getting back into eating regular, healthy foods and watching the scale go down. Can't wait to see what a year looks like!
  23. My nausea goes on all day. Wondering if it's just a bug going around by my MIL said her stomach was bothering her last week. I see the dr on 8/3. Maybe they can give me some Zofran if it continues. I see other people on other posts have used it.

  25. Anyone else getting waves of nausea? It started with me about 4 days ago. Feels like I'm pregnant again!! Better not be!! I'll flip out
