lost my job in Cali and my sister lives here so I figured I would move to be close to her and my nieces and nephew. But I miss Cali at times, it gets so hot here. At least in Big Bear it got warm in summer but nothing like this. I could go to the lake if I wanted and cool off. But being around my family is a positive trade off.

This year is a year of change for me. I got sleeved in February and lost over 100lbs so far. I am feeling better and can do things I couldn't do for years. With that said, sadly I am feeling very lonely still. My birthday is coming up next month and I will be 39 and alone. Another year that way and it sucks. Hopefully as I keep losing and things get better, my situation will change. It would just be nice to find someone to share this life with.

haha yeah I am finding out all the single women seem to be in other states! I picked the wrong state to live in. lol yeah I'm gonna work on myself and the life I want. Having new friends to talk to from here does help with the loneliness though which is great.

I should have never moved out of SoCal, all the single ladies are there! lol

Any single ladies on here? I'm looking for someone to talk with and see what could develop. Either an awesome friendship or maybe more doesn't matter, just looking for a cool woman to get to know.

When I went I had to do the three months supervised diet then after that I was set up with the psych evaluation and the chest x-ray and blood work. Then met with the surgeon and the scheduler and was in for surgery a month later. I think it depends on how your insurance works. Mine had steps I had to take.

It's supposed to be 110 tomorrow which is my day off so that pool just might see me in it.

@@Niki15 Sadly not seeing any ladies in Nevada area on here. Guess I'll have to broaden my search to other states. lol

That is my problem, I just can't get out of the routine of home and work. That is great you got a gym you can use at work. We had that at my old job but it was before I had WLS. Wish I had that still so it would make me work out. Yeah I'm gonna start slow. There is a pool at my house but with work I just haven't used it. As hot as it is supposed to get this weekend though I think I am going to get in it. Haha I haven't been to PA since I was a kid! I still remember the blast of humidity I felt walking out of the airport! definitely an easy place to sweat it out! I used to visit my uncle in Pittsburgh. What part are you from?

lol, I will have to get back to you about the exercise as well. I haven't been exercising yet and I am really wanting to join a gym but just haven't done it. I'm going at the end of the month to visit my friend in AZ and we are going on a hike. This will be my first hike so maybe it will jump start my exercise. I'm also supposed to have a personal training session with a trainer if they have time. We shall see! Are you doing anything for exercise?

Still haven't seen it, I know it's on video now though. I need to though because I can't remember the original one and need to watch that too. lol

Oh I love Sense8! It is a crazy show. Last thing I seen was Fantastic 4 and it was everything but Fantastic, worst movie in awhile. Ant - Man was good. I like a lot of SciFi. lol

You know what, I don't do any of that stuff. lol. I used to when vacationing here but now that I live here I don't go to the casinos. Also I can't gamble at the ones I work for. lol Only time I do go to one is when family or friends come into town. I just go to movies that's about it. I live a boring life.

@@jennysayscheese Thank you for your suggestion, I really do need to learn to love myself as well as learn to enjoy being alone. I am currently in Nevada, the Las Vegas area. Lots to do here just this heat is horrible right now to do anything.

@@AngelaWilliamsMD I haven't tried bud lite yet but I used to drink it before Coronas, might have to try it again!

I used to like to drink Coronas but now one sip of beer makes my pouch fill up fast. I tried Vodka cranberry but it was with regular juice and the sugar was too much for me. Vodka water is something I will have to try.

we all know it has no nutritional value but many of us are still going to want to enjoy a drink now and then.

there should be a post to list your favorite alcoholic drink after wls.

@@bear2506 That's great you are doing better. I didn't have very much pain from mine but I think it depends on the person. The lady who had it the same day was screaming from the pain. Guess I got lucky.
