  1. Riddle me this... At what age does one become too old to have a 'girlfriend'?

MM, after 10 years, I'd hope it's ummmm. And at 64, you're a wee broth of a lass.

GG, I don't know whether I'm the picture of or the poster child for "normal." Since you, like I, are comfy with "friend," who knows what we are? Do we care? Pfft.

Thanx for the replies... I do appreciate those who take the time to offer opinions... I asked the question because I quite like the term 'girlfriend'...

Obviously it's not a term I've had to worry about being called, so I was just wanting the viewpoint of others. I've no issues with the term 'boyfriend'...

I think those particular terms are (potentially) pre-cursors to the more formal 'partner', 'fiancé/e' or of course, for the old fashioned, 'husband/wife'...

Anyway, thanx again for the input... It's sometimes helpful to get an outside perspective..

      Kinda..

Personally, I feel that when a woman biological clock ticks past "girl" to "woman", from "miss" to "maim", the term "girlfriend" sounds immature. I prefer being called, "friend", "lady friend", or "companion". When in doubt, why not just ask "her"?
