Do not blame your food cravings on emotional issues, Bostonmama. A good non-surgeon bariatric specialist can evaluate to see if medications or surgery revision is needed. Please do not beat yourself up for the cravings. Your struggles may be as much physiological as psychological and can be addressed by the right medical specialist. Yes, see a nutritionist and psychologist but there are a lot of experienced, talented obesity specialist medical doctors in the Boston area. -

Will I still be able to drink lots of water?

I am considering a sleeve. Consult scheduled. But I love cold Water. Drink over a gallon every day, 2 when dieting, esp. low carb. (No exaggeration). Will I have to cut back drastically after the sleeve? How much do you think can I expect to be able to drink? Are water restrictions only the first few months after surgery or lifelong? -
I am also considering a sleeve at AMC. Have my initial consult in 5 weeks. Please tell me about your experience.
