Thanks guys! It's a little disheartening hearing how others sleeved around the same time as me have lost a lot more. Some even around the same age/weight as me. I know everybody's different and losing slowly is still losing, but it makes me think I need to do better.

Congrats! I'm down 60 pounds and feel the same way. Can you believe we used to carry around the weight of a child with us!?

  5. Sometimes I just want to wear a sign when I'm out that says, "I've lost SIXTY POUNDS. I'm fat but I used to be a lot fatter. So it's fine if I'm buying nutella because gosh darn it, sometimes fat people need nutella too, and I deserve it!"

Thanks! =) The staring at me is becoming a little less common, I've found, so that's good

Thanks everyone! =) It feels amazing! Well, not the pants-always-about-to-fall-down part, but the rest of it!

  7. Isn't it SO frustrating when your doctor's scale is different from yours!?

Hahaha, I try to wear less layers and ALWAYS wear my flats when I go to my doctor's because they're lighter than my sneakers or other shoes. I try to weigh myself with clothes on at home, but sometimes without too...because I feel like that's a more "True" weight. My surgeon always goes "Well, everybody's scale is different. The recordings we have are from my scale" But now they're from the NP's scale too! So it shouldn't count!

@MistyAnnMoon829 - That just happened to me! I got to 298 and stayed <300 for days, but at the doctors yesterday, his scale said 300! I went home and weighed myself and it was 297. His nurse practioner's scale is the same as mine though...I almost asked to go be weighed in her offce, ha!

@OneDollarBill I wish I was that lucky! Must give you motivation to actually get down to the weight it says on their scale?
