I think the stitching of the hernia was worse than the placement of the band.

Looking to get honest input on pain after surgery. I'm 4 days post-op and have to go back to work tomorrow. Just wondering how long each of you had pain for after getting the LAP BAND placed. I also had a hernia repaired.

I've tried the gas x, that helps but still feel like I have to burp. :-\

As you should be Carrie! A pound is a pound! Be proud! Follow the diet and get your fills and it should stay off, that's what I'm planning to do. Congrats!

Hi everyone. I'm new here and am hoping for some advice.

I'm 3 days post-op and am having pain which I believe is caused by air not being released. I'm dying to burp but I just can't! Any suggestions?

I haven't noticed any weight loss yet, hoping that's from still being a tad swollen. I don't expect it to just fall off, but can't wait to see the scale go down.

Anyways, looking forward to taking this journey with you all and thanks for any tips.
