I agree. ..I've had PF soo bad...went through therapy, cortisone shots, custom orthotics $500, medical crocs, and Birkenstocks....and I LIVE in my birkenstocks...the absolute best relief for PF....the best $100 investment EVER!!!

When it was really bad at first...I took the liquid hydrocodone. ..but then I would just push through

@jhvonna09 the pain would come when I moved and it involved my abdominal muscles. .standing, sitting, laying, raising from bed, sudden movement, sneezing, coughing etc...after a couple of minutes it would go away. Week 5...I noticed the pain was subsiding...now that im on week 6...no more lower left abdominal pain.

I'm 6 weeks out..had the same issues. .it goes away....I no longer have the pain... thank God!

Best advice ever.. walk until you can't walk anymore. ..on my 2nd night in the hospital my gas was so bad I literally walked all night...and napped in a chair....but glad I did that bc the gas started passing the next day. ...so keep walking.

Outside of what everyone else said..take a robe to the hospital. ..and a food scale for the house.

What yogurt are you having. ..I need to eat more yogurt. .but can't stand plain Greek yogurt....in need of suggestions?

I am just finishing day two of the liquids and my headaches are killing me. I am allowed h2o, broth, Protein shakes and SF Popsicles or jello too. Oh and I can have chicken or a lean cuisine under 300 cal. once per day. I had chicken noodle Soup tonight and ate a few of the noodles What's the worst is the dang headaches!!! No excedrin allowed and Tylenol is not working as I hoped. I did notice this morning that my tummy appears more "deflated" than usual so that's good! I am 235 so very close to you. Drink more Water. ..and just think some people aren't even allowed to have that lean cuisine. ...hang in there it gets easier. ..start trying to focus on non-food related activities. You can make it!

My office had it....but u can order it cheaper from Amazon. I hated BA but made it through.....if u were in the neighborhood I'd give you the rest if mines! I'd say get vanilla..you can mix anything with it...whereas you are limited with the other flavors.

I'm currently in week 3... and I'm eating 1/4 to 1/2 cup each meal. .. fine.

Anyone else out there having LOUD noises coming from their insides when drinking water? I'm 20 days RnY post op and it's a little embarrassing to drink around others. ..bc my insides get extremely loud as the water is going down...help..how do I manage the rumbling in the Bronx? ??

It'll take time. . As the swelling goes down. . You will be able to drink more and faster.

I took a month off..week 3 I was fine to move about with minimal pain. The first two weeks I was just weak with no energy. ..couldn't stay awake for a full work day. I had no complications and have a desk job. As for exercising. ..my dr still has me just walking..currently 20 days post op.
