  1. Count me in too, looking forward to something EAT. So sick of shakes and more shakes. I would be so happy even on the pre op diet, that I hated LOL
  2. I get mine at Walgreens, $6.97 a four pack. The chocolate taste like full fat chocolate milk, I love it.
  3. Not to be gross, but are you BM's loose? You can also "lose" Water that way. I feel for you with the "stall", that must be frusturating. I am only 1 week post op, so don't know about that yet. Keep your head up.
  4. Mine are: Profuse 10 gr Protein and 2 carbs Isopure 40gr protein and 0 carbs Premier chocolate shake 30 gr protein and 5 carbs
  5. Best wishes for a great surgical experience. I had an uneventful one but I am only 6 days out. No nausea or pain, so it can happen. I did have "sore" tummy upper left side, where they took the stomach out. Just listen to the doctors and nurses.
  6. I am 6 days post sleeve. Last two showers I took, I did not get winded. Also went shopping and did great. It felt wonderful. I go for first Dr. visit Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing how I am doing.
  7. I only had some soreness, no pain. I would not think "intense" pain is abnormal. I would call the doctor.

  9. I said to my husband, this surgery kicked my but with fatique. I feel great otherwise. I am now 6 days out and it is better thank goodness. Best wishes.

  11. I was if the torilla was softened or ground if it would work? I love the flavore of corn torilla's.
  12. How long did you wait until you tried any type of alcohol? I love a glass of wine or mixed drink every so often. I know it will be absorbed more quickly and I will have to watch for that.
  13. Yes, it kicks off tomorrow. Fireworks tomorrow night. No junk food for me this year! that is a first in 55 years!!
  14. I am a nurse and dispensed tons of liquid Vitamins. They always smell horrible. I would rather chew one but that is just me.
  15. I can drink more and more each day. I am up to almost up to the 60 gr Protein, I was instructed to have. But I want food and I am on a very strict clear/full liquid diet. I can only have broth, Water, shakes,sugar free popsicles, sugar free Jello and that is it. What can you have? Glad to hear you are feeling better.

  17. How are you doing today Dlooker, I am doing great. I actually want to eat something. So sick of Protein shakes. I was hoping I could eat some strained Cream of Mushroom Healthy request Soup, but doc say no.
  18. I will promise you these doctors have seen it all, they do not even think about judging you. They just want to make sure they can keep you safe and perform the surgery. I can't imagine you will have to take off any clothes anyway. Really not need to.
  19. Does anyone drink soda after surgery? If so, how long did you wait?
  20. I am so flipping sick of the shakes already and only have used them about three weeks. When I was in the hospital they gave me Profuse and I loved it. Tasted like crystal Light. I had grape. Anyone else use it? It has 15gr protien. also can be taken as a 1-2 ounce shot. Win win situation.
  21. I have had a few panic attacks but lots of anxiety in my life. But now, It is controlled with medication. I did have a mild attack the day I came home after sleeve operation. I suggest taking your ativan or xanax prior to discharge and as needed at home. They really are great help. Best wishes to you.
  22. Our daughter just has a neighbor feed and water hers if they become empty.
  23. Consider the sources. Bitter unhappy people I bet. Hold your head up and ignore them, no response at all. Just ignore, they will get the point
  24. Forgot to add, I had hernia repair as well.
