I have been on nexplantonbirth control implant for three years prior to surgery. Then this January it came back and now it's here again. Is there any birth control that is doing its job for my other group members. I been advised against another surgery to remove Everything Please help , I just am so furstated. I am 42 years old, I was sleeved almost four months ago and down 35 lbs less and want to be down to 155 lbs . With this new body I want to start dating again. My interests are reading, traveling, watching movies and listening to music, cooking. I would love to meet a gentleman who is between 45 and 60 who knows how to treat me and understanding me for having the surgery but wants to get to know the inside person who is even better than the outside. I been struggling with weight for I would say probably since my early 20's when I was in a committed relationship that would last from the naive age of 20 to the wise age of 29. We would go out to eat all the time very big meals steaks with all the trimmings and pizza, trying every restaurant in the area where we lived. Then on weekends have the big family meals that if you didn’t eat, the person preparing would feel offended. My weight started 145 lbs. and at the end was up to 175 lbs. The weight loss also consisted of eating out during the week at my job that was too convenient to order out and "eat on the run”. It is now 2015 , my weight is at a sad weight of 222 lbs., I am a candidate for gastric sleeve, I had my with all my doctors to get my permission for surgery, meet with a dietician , and scared because I been trying her suggestions and only lost 2lbs , Still have to the psych evaluation, mammogram and surgery consult. I guess I am writing this today because I just want to know I am not alone in my struggles. God Bless all who read this and give me inspiration and courage to go on (Yes, I have strong family support). Is everyone having the struggle to lose the weight that started slowly and didn’t look big at first and then when look at pictures can see the true picture of what others see ?

i WENT to my Primary Care Doctor on Tuesday, and he was disappointed that i gained the seven pounds I lost at the previous appointment. He asked me what I want to do about this weight gain since my weight keeps going up and the health problems keep going up (headaches, sleep apnea,etc) This is not the recent time he has been upset about the weight gain. I always been a big girl, I tried hiding it behind clothes, and of course humor. So now at 41 and to avoid having my life end early like my dad (he died of heart disease at 58)and having knee problems like my mom. At first I was all excited now I am scared about gastric sleeve surgery, (I never had surgery before ) Does anyone want to be friends and help be my support, I have my mom,my sister, my brother in law, told one friend) I am keeping it on the down low till I go May 18th to Weight Loss Seminar.
