Surgery was March 9, 2015. No weight lost. Nothing. Zero. Got my third fill 2 weeks ago and now have to be careful to chew and take small bites or I'll feel stuck, slime, etc. No change in appetite at all though. Still could eat and eat. Does this mean I am getting close to the green zone?? I can't wait to not be thinking about food all the time!

March 9th - surgery April 1 - first fill 0.5cc No change May3 - second fill 0.5cc No change June 3 - third fill 1cc this time Ate fine for supper (dr orders was liquids til late that night) chewed well, tiny bites, no problems. This morning can't keep anything down, cereal, ham slices, protein shake..... I had to manually make my self relieve the stuck food by vomiting. Later able to drink shake, yogurt, soup broth. Felt like it was on its way to get stuck so I stopped. I'm still starving but I stopped to keep from sticking. Will it start to loosen up and let me eat and finally be full?? I am going to see how the weekend goes but again, starving. Up till today I was still eating big meals because I was never full. Like I had never had surgery. Now I have this fill and wonder if this is expected? Any guidance is very welcome. I'm in an unknown territory here. Doing the slime, the PBs, all that I had heard about. Please help!

Thank you all for your replies. I was a self-pay so, insurance is not a worry. It really seems to be rather straight forward. I've injected and drawn from many types of ports. Right now I feel like I've never had surgery. I know I'm underfilled but my surgeon is stuck on these 0.5ml fills once a month. I don't see myself losing any weight for several months down the road. I paid a lot of money for this surgery and I would kinda like to have it work.

It's a two hour drive to my surgeon and he only does 0.5ml with each fill, of which I've had two. No restriction whatsoever. It's any easy procedure. My port is easily felt. Has anyone done their own fill? My band holds 14ml so I have a whopping ONE whole cc of saline in mine at two months post-op.

I am brand new to this forum. Got my band on March 9, 2015. I've had two fills of 0.5cc each. My band is a 14cc size. I feel no restriction or fullness of any kind. It's like I never had surgery. I feel like my fills should be a larger amount. I've lost no weight (actually gained a pound). I am following the rules on what to eat but I eat far more often because I am so hungry two hours after a meal! Anyone else feel like this?
