  1. I've heard the 1st yr is that magic time to lose the weight, but are there people that has lost more weight after the yr mark? I guess my biggest concern is I am getting close to my surgerversery and I still a little more than I want to be. I am about 15 lbs from my Drs goal weight but I am about 35lbs from my dream weight. I had a lot of stressors come around these past couple months so my weight loss has stalled since I fell off the wagon. I am trying to make better choices each and every day now but I want to know there is still hope lol.

How long did you lose weight for?

My Dr said it was important to lose the bulk of the weight by 9 months out to be able to reach goal. I didn't think that at 12 months it just magically stopped. I guess when u have less weight to lose it just slows.

sleeve buddy in San Antonio ?

I was told no caffeine 1. Because your pouch will process it differently than before 2. Because caffeine can dehydrate you because it makes you urinate more frequently.

    Vaping after Surgery

My Dr explained it to me that a lot of the "smoke" actually goes to ur stomach instead of ur lungs, which can make u gassy. I miss it but it makes McPouchy very angry....
  7. My MIL just bought me one, she's had hers for a while though and she loves it. Tons of awesome recipes for it on Pinterest
  8. I was doing that the same day as my surgery. I guess it just depends on how ur feeling, everyone kinda responds differently.

    May Sleevers...where are you?

I was sleeves on May 20th and I'm 25, you're not alone! ????I was sleeved in the 26th and I'm actually 21! The whole no-alcohol thing seems to be the hardest for me right now because all of my friends are having birthdays and the bar is where we all seem to hang out now!Awesome! I'm so glad to finally find some people on here around my age. Not that everyone here hasn't been super helpful, I just feel like it's such a different experience going through this when we're young. It's a fairly new procedure for weight - loss and we're going to be living with it for a long, long time! I agree the non-alcohol thing is difficult. I pretty much told my friends I'd be going into hibernation for a couple of months since most of our activities have revolved around alcohol. I'm going to make it work though and still find ways to go out and have fun until then. We should definitely all keep in touch since we were sleeved at the same time and will be going through all the stages together. I got sleeved on May 11th, I'm 26.

    I'm driving myself crazy

ok I had my surgery 5/11 and I've lost 18lbs. Tomorrow will begin my 2nd week and for the last 5 days I haven't lost a single pound. I know I shouldn't weigh everyday but I have been. I know there's the 3 weeks stall but I'm not even in my 2nd week. I am still drinking 2 protein shakes a day and getting about 65-70 grams of protein per day. is there anything else I can change, am I doing something wrong?

I weight daily. I would go insane if I did it weekly. I feel I have to watch my weight every waking second. I know that's not good; but, not watching it landed me on this list. I'm only 3 months post surgery and I guess I'm still in the "You not gonna lose a pound panic mode"

    Multi-Vitamin struggles

If u can switch to regular ones if they make u nauseous as well try taking them right before bed, that's what I have to do and I don't have any problems.

    Enough water?!

I am 8 days post op. I am finding it next to impossible to get all my water in. It's not that it makes me sick I just feel full. Ive tried crystal light but the only flavor I like is peach tea. Before the surgery the only way I could up my fluids is drinking through a straw, I tried that today and felt like I was gonna die cause of the air bubbles. Any tips?
