  1. I am now about 13 or 14 weeks out and have lost 43lbs. I feel like this is not good but i know everyone loses at their own pace. Is there any food out there that we can use when those salty cravings hit. I've really not had any sweet cravings which for me is a milestone in itself but am i lacking in the sodium department? What do any of you suggest for when those cravings hit?

Try to find something to do when cravings hit. Feeding those cravings is a slippery slope. Good luck!

  5. Finally hitting the gym, which I admit I have been avoiding. I felt self-conscious and judged. I have been 3 days straight and crazy I know, BUT I LOVE IT!

I was very self-conscious at my original weight and avoided exercise like the plague. I feel great now and I don't get stares or judgement. I should have gone to the gym before now but better late than never. I am determined to make my goal weight! Thanks for the encouragement!

  20. So the peach has shrunken a bit, made it to 100 pounds down and and it through Thanksgiving! Had to have gallbladder surgery on the 19th so have been a bit tired. Been absent for a bit and thought I would drop in for an update.

Thank you ladies! And yes, I have decided there is nothing I cannot do as every day I must make good choices. Good to know I can even when temptation is at its highest. In response, yes I haven't skipped a beat without my gallbladder. Just some discomfort but I am doing great and continuing to lose. The nice thing )if there is one lol) is that our WLS dietary changes are the same as for gallbladder surgery so no major changes on that front!

  21. Stocking up on protein drinks and Quest bars, these things can be so expensive!

I use Jay Robb egg white protein powder, pricey but taste great. For protein bars I started with quest but they really are expensive so I now do premier and pure protein bars. Get them at Walmart and spend $1.50 or less compared to $2.50 for quest. Also the pure protein ones come by the box so it is 6.94 for 6 bars or 1.16 each
