I had my surgery feb. 17th of this year. About 9 weeks out at this point. I have lost 61lbs. I had my surgery in Rochester. I took some clothes like tank tops, yoga pants and clean underwear to the hospital. I had my gallbladder out about 7 years ago and I remember it being somewhat painful but unfortunately this will be more major. I didn't have too much pain other than the drain tube. Walk as much as possible. I walked 2 miles in the hospital. You will definitely want Chapstick, toothbrush and toothpaste and maybe some face cloths. It felt awesome to clean my face and clean up a little bit after surgery.

One week post op protein makes me sick

I couldn't drink Protein either because of the taste and smell. So instead I made the recipe my nutritionist gave me: 1 packet of carnation no sugar added mix (chocolate, vanilla or strawberry) 2 tablespoons of dry milk 8oz of skim milk That's what I drank for protein.
