  1. @@rln52 Pain isn't too bad. I gained 10 pounds from all of the swelling. ???????? I keep waking up with horrible headaches in the middle of the night. I'm drinking fine as long as I sip. Sipping has been the most challenging. I start my Protein first thing in the morning and I have managed to meet or exceed 60-80 grams. I plan to start walking today.
  2. My surgeon requires Isopure, clear broth and clear liquids for the first two days post op. Good luck with surgery.
  3. I'm waking up a lot at night too. I'm still on pain meds but take less and less each day. They also removed my gallbladder, and I had a hiatal hernia repair.
  4. Feeling pretty good! Sore and my belly is really swollen. I'm one of the lucky ones that gained 10 pounds from the swelling. ???????????? Pain isn't too bad. A little fatigue. How are you doing?
  5. Thanks!!! Surgery went well. Very sore today and really tired

  10. If I can do this, anyone can do it. Sure it has been extremely difficult...I've cried....wanted to scream...grumpy....frustrated....angry but I know in the long run it will be worth. Maybe your surgeon can prescribe an appetite suppressant. Good luck and I know you can do this.
  11. You're welcome!!! Please let me know how you're doing after surgery. I have to be at the hospital by 6:50.
  12. You look great!!! Not too skinny!!! Ignore those comments, most of the time it's out of jealousy and not out of concern.

  17. That's great news. I've lost 15 pounds since I went for my first appointment on 4/22/15. Ten pounds are from the pre-op diet surgery scheduled for Thursday.
  18. How are you doing on pre-op diet? I have days till surgery.
  19. Good luck. I fear I'll have the same problem when they attempt my IV's. I have really small veins.
  20. I'm 39 and I'm almost positive I have not spent $30,000. Maybe she meant $3,000.
