  1. Yea I was gonna call my surgery office just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas for now. I don't know if it's just me but my PCP is totally clueless on all of this stuff.. maybe I should find a new one, lol.
  2. So I have bad TMJ issue (pain in jaw joint area) that started up a few weeks ago. I wanted to reduce swelling/inflammation to see if I can help solve the problem. Thing is, as I'm sure you all know NSAID's which would help this issue are a big no-no on gastric bypass. Are there any safe ways to help with this? Thanks for the help =)
  3. I'm about 6 or 7 weeks post-op. I've experienced this two times. First time was with Chili about a week ago, second time today with some eggs. Both are foods I can normally east just fine so far. Within the first two or three bites I immediately experience a pain in my stomach or slightly above my stomach. Any additional food just makes the pain worst. After five or ten minutes I throw up the little bit of food I ate. Hoping you guys have some insight on this. Is it going down a wrong tube or something?
  4. I realize since it's breaded it's not something to make a habit out of, but if you're out and you need to eat is it okay once in a while? Usually seems like one of the better options at restaurants. Plus they are delicious =)
  5. Examples of some foods I can eat right now: Canned turkey/tuna/chicken Baked fish deli meats block of low fat cheese eggs Do you guys think beef sticks would be a good choice at this stage? They are pretty moist. I get organic beef sticks from a local butcher shop, it's not like im eating slim jim's or anything Thanks
  6. I am 8 days post-op currently. It says I should be sipping on 1oz Water every 15 minutes, and this worked for a few days but I've just been really thirsty with a really dry mouth and I pretty much have abandoned that plan. Now, it's not like how it used to be where I would just crush a water bottle in one go if I was really thirsty but I've upped my sips to probably 4oz. at a time. I haven't felt any negative effects over this, one time I felt a little full but other than that I feel fine? I'm not stretching my pouch or anything am i?
  7. My stomach hurts soo bad. I can only lay straight up in bed, on my sides is unbearable pain. I basically can't sleep. I told the nurses how much pain I was in but they said it was normal and discharged me anyways? This is like the worst day of my life, that's how bad the pain is. This is actually normal?
