  1. I have been trying to do this for an hour. It's not working. Do i have to do this on a computer? I don't see a change picture tab, or browse. Abd O can't edit my profile either. I'm so frustrated.
  2. I don't think my advice will mean much of anything because I have some of the same issues as you. I'm only 3 weeks post op but and I am single as well but I don't really feel the need to date. I would love to be in as relationship but I kinda feel like if I get into a "situationship" right now it'll be for all the wrong reasons (comfort, companionship, affection, intimacy) and right now I want to get to know and love me so that I can meet the right person and not Mr. RIGHT now. Plus love makes you gain weight and I need to lose! Lol!
  3. Good question. I can't even figure out how to upload a pic!
  4. I am scared to drink with a straw and yet I don't know why. Can someone please remind me why the surgeon stressed not doing it so much?
  5. You may want to go worth a different dr for the psych eval. When I was trying to get approved, the first psychiatrist told me I would have to have at least 4 appt with him before he would let me know if he cleared me for surgery. I was like uh hell no! I canceled that appt. The second one spoke with me for an hour and then he was done with me. It's only to make sure that you are prepared for this major surgery, I'm not trying to be your lifelong patient.
  6. Hang in there! It will get better. This is probably the hardest thing you will go through but once you are past this difficult phase, it'll be smooth sailing!
  7. Reading all of you NSV has really got me teary eyed! I can't wait to be where you guys are. I am 6 days post op and have lost a total of 30 lbs from approval to post op. I have gotten compliments but I don't physically feel different yet but am confident I will be posting on this thread soon.
  8. I'm only able to consume approximately 500 calories a day. Is that normal? I don't want to go the unhealthy route but I can only eat a small cough medicine capful of food in one sitting. I'm using the fitness pal app to log my food and it keeps telling me I'm unhealthy because I need to eat 1000 calories or more.
  9. Day 5 pre op and my gas isn't too bad but are we allowed to take gas x? If so, is that a pill? Cause I tried to take a very tiny sleeping pill and it wasn't able to dissolve in my new tummy till 12 hours later.Gas- X comes in a pill form, chewable tablets, and strips (dissolvable strips). There may also be a liquid formulation. I have heard from other people who have had the sleeve surgery and they say to make sure you bring gas-x with you to the hospital. Haven't had my surgery yet so I am not sure about all the rules myself. I think your fine to take the strips or even the shareable formulation. Hope you feel better!!!????Thanks, I'll be sure to buy the chewable ones tomorrow!

  11. 330 Sorry 330 is my Memorial goal
  12. Not sure what my goal should be since I ain't even know if I can achieve it but here goes 》330
  13. 346.6 yay! Lost a lil bit since being sleeved on April 30th.
  14. My list 1. Not being able to fit into a relay sized lawn chair 2. Not being able to go to a water park or amusement because there is a weight limit that I am 100 lbs to heavy for. 3. Going from being pre diabetic to having full on diabetes. 4. Not being able to fit comfortably into am airplane seat and needing to pay for 2 seats if I want to fly. 5. Shopping for cute clothes but nothing I like fit decent 6. Having back pain when I walk. 7. Not feeling comfortable taking pictures or looking in a mirror because I'm tired of looking like a whale.
  15. People don't get this. Everything I go out to eat with people, they want to sit in a booth, meanwhile in my head, I'm praying I'll fit!
  16. I have seen some of them at the dollar store. Not this brand though.
  17. Same here. First stool was solid then the next two have been diarrhea like. Glad I'm not alone. Sleeved on the 30th. My dr gave me colace to loosen my stools but I think I'll wait on taking that. Lol!
  18. I made the mistake of weighing myself when I got home from the hospital. The scale has me weighing 2 more lbs heavier than when I went in. I'm hoping to have the same experience as you by next week.
  19. I was finally released today at about 11am. I'm home now. fluids are going down with no problem but I'm super hungry. I'm trying to drink more to curb the hunger but it isn't working. Help me!
  20. What's a revision? I just came out the hospital from being sleeved today and this liquid diet is not doing it for me. Neither are the protein shakes. I am super hungry and wonder what I'm doing wrong. I shouldn't be this hungry. I also have no issues getting liquid down.
  21. Please do. They just released me from the hospital so I'm going gimme. So excited!
  22. I finally had the surgery. I'm still in the hospital 2 days later but I feel awesome. I want to go home!!!! I'm tired of these nurses taking blood, checking my blood pressure etc. My room is like a conveyor belt or a revolving door. My appetite is non existent though. I can only get thru a couple sips of everything. I'm super gassy but, I understand that's normal so I'm not concerned about that. Thank you for praying for me, it definitely helped the process go smoothly. Now I can't wait for the weight loss to begin!
