  1. I am 5 months out and this is my 3rd stall. I am eating about 600 to 800 a day. I work out 5 times a week and active on weekends. I limit carbs as much as possible. I've lost 115 pounds so I know that is awesome but I am 30 pounds (40 from my doctor's goal) away from goal and want to get there. I do zumba, body pump, treadmill, and Water aerobics. I feel your frustration.

That's great progress! I do Zumba as well I love it!

    Congrats on your success. ❤️

I think you should increase calories and you will loose more weight.

    Just a thought. ????????

    Congrats and your doing great.

I lost all my weight just walking cycling and stretching..... Be careful cause I injured back and hip lifting and could not do any exercise for a few weeks.

There something about losing a lot of weight and your muscles and connective tissue becomes loose and it my be easy to hurt yourself and or have pain in some areas.it will go away slowly.

    Don't stop.... Keep going....❤️

  4. I am 9 months out and down 102 pounds since surgery. I am very happy with my progress so far but I have been at a stall for the past month. I am following the calories that my doctor set for me and I am exercising regularly. I'm not sure why I am at a stall. I need to find a way to get the loss going again!

    Same here.....

    305 starting weight

    268 surgery weight

    197 current weight

I got to 205 and it started loose about 1 lbs / week

    Then stalled for 4 weeks....

I was eating about 1500 calories /day and 1 hr light cardio 4 times /week

Since my goal is to get to 190 it didn't bother me and waited it out , also change walking/ light cardio and did cycling 1 hr day 6 times week.

    Stayed with 1500-1800 calories/ daily

I think your body needs a rest sometimes from loose weight.

Also started doing cycling at 530am to 630 am and did not eat before doing cycling ( only water)

  5. I heard Some ppl have hunger post op and some don't.....for me, I don't have hunger....more thirst than before op...

I don't crave bad foods.... I eat my Protein all the time.... But I get hungry very very often.... I eat like 4-5 oz of food every 2-3 hours.... I can't stay hungry for long.... And the way you guys are talking (that you don't feel hungry at all) it's an alienated topic for me....

I m going to be 5months post and I have lost 47 pounds..... Is something wrong with me?

  6. No hunger from day one.....and don't confuse head hunger (cravings/old habits) with hunger. Also thirst feels like hunger but its not. I try not to going too long without eating or drinking cause it causes me to try to eat or drink fast and then I get that full feeling that I don't like.

  7. I had hiatal hernia same time as vsg and I had gerd really bad. Especially at night I would wake with mouth full of acid....6 weeks post op and dr is weaning me off nexum(currently takin 20mg) and no problems...will know a couple of weeks from now if I can quit it forever. I think if I have to take for rest of life I'm okay with that. post-252202-14339541714101_thumb.jpg
