  3. I'm almost 1 month Post Op.... I've been experiencing the worse heart Burns... I was told it will get better but the questions is When? Can anyone relate?
  4. My surgery went well it's been 3 weeks and I'm recovering very well... The two lower incisions are the most painful and take the longest to heal but it's not something I can't handle.... My doctor told me I can go back to work on light duty for about 3 weeks and that I can go to the gym... I just have to be careful with my core... I was told that at two months I would feel completely healed... Can't wait ) the toughest thing I'm going through is finding foods I can purée and enjoy as well )

    Starting the Gym?

Thank you guys all this info is great... I started going to the gym but only doing 20-30 min walks on the treadmill... I do some leg work outs and arms but Nothing that requires heavy lifting.... I'm being very careful... How ever I find that sitting a lot really hurts my incisions.... I do light exercise and enough resting... It's just weird how after relaxing or resting for too long... That's when I feel sore...

    Starting the Gym?

Every day since surgery I walk what I can... But every time I go Out and walk for a while I get home to feel more pain.... Today I spent all day Out of My house I did walking for a couple hours in the morning at a festival I attended and all though I spent the rest of the day just sitting now I'm in so much pain.... My back aches from only being able to sleep on my back I try laying sitting up a little and flat either way I'm always aching ... My body is definitely still weak but I want to work on building my strength again... The only question is how and when?
  10. I got my surgery on 4/16 I was very active in the gym prior to surgery... I'm still recovering but being that I had the removal of the lapband and the sleeve done at the same time my body is taking a little longer to recover... My question is When can I start the Gym... I went to see my doctor for a one week post op and of course I forgot to ask like the most important questions... Help thanks

    Day 5 post op

I got the surgery 10days ago and I have Not experienced nausea at all that definitely sounds like a problem... Your doctor can prescribe you nausea meds but it seems like your body is reacting to the change... Were you on a liquid diet prior to surgery and if so for how long?
  12. I switched to decaf 2 months prior to surgery... It definitely satisfied me... Although it's decaf coffee there's still some type of caffeine in coffee... I got surgery 10days ago nd I still drink my decAf coffee with skim milk and Splenda... I'm happy and satisfied... You should try it
  13. So much good info thanks everyone )
