  1. I am one week post-op today. I have been following my doctors orders to a T minus getting all the Water in. I am not sleeping well at night and I am exhausted during the day. It's seems to be getting worse as the week goes on. Maybe because my body is changing but I'm not sure. Even taking a shower takes everything out of me. Thoughts?

  2. So I'm 6 days post op. ..and will pass on:

    1. Gas pains, gas pains, gas pains.

    2. Don't trust a fart. .shuffle to toilet

    3. Walk around the hospital as much as you can. . It helps the gas they pump in you to pass

    4. Bring pillow for the ride home (bumps on the road hurt)

    5. Did I say walk. ..walk walk

Best of luck we'll see you on the other side. ..my prayers for s smooth surgery and recovery.

Number 2 had me laughing so hard! THANKS FOR THAT!

Walk, walk, walk! The nurses were making comments that I was walking so much but in a good way! It's truly helps the gas.

Oh and good luck on your surgery! I hope all goes well!

  3. I am 3 days post-op and pooped this morning. Wasn't much but enough to help relieve some gas too. I've been walking a lot and the gas isn't too bad. I came home from the hospital yesterday and I'm feeling not too bad. My stomach is sore but that's expected. I gain a few pounds in the hospital but lost that last night. Now I am just trying yo get some Protein Shakes down and my Water. Little sips...I also exited for this journey to finally be here! Thanks for asking! How is everyone doing?

  4. I came in yesterday at 7:30am. They did some routine tests on me (blood work, sugar). Once they got ready to take me back they gave me some anxiety and nausea meds. I was pretty loopy before they started. She put oxygen over my face and I was out!. Woke up in recovery and they gave me lots of meds I was then wheeled of to my room.i didn't have anything to eat until just now. They brought me chicken broth, hello and unsweetened tea.

You'll do great on your surgery! The doctor said there weren't any complications. Yay!

  5. Saying a prayer for the June 2 surgeries. I was supposed to be in that group. Ended up sick last week and today my dr cancelled surgery. I know it was for the best but I am feeling frustrated. Most likely will be moved to June 29. Wishing you all the best. Also, keeping the rest of the June group in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh no! I'm so sorry! What did you have? I'm struggling with a sore throat and drainage and I'm worried they may cancel. My surgery is June 3rd. Hope you feel better!

  6. Congrats to everyone for their surgery dates! I have mine June 3rd! I cannot believe that's only a few days. I have been trying to get all the laundry done, house cleaned, etc so my mother-in-law won't feel obligated to do it. She is coming in Tuesday to watch our four boys. I am still on the emotional roller coaster. So ready to get off that darn thing!

    How is everyone doing???
