    June 2015 sleevers

Sleeved June 26th, down about 35 total. Had an iron sleeve the first 3 weeks, 4th week everything tastes terrible. and always seem to eat a bite or two too much. Other than that I feel great and couldn't be happier with my decision.

    Prilosec/Omeprazole

I really didn't want to take it at all. My surgeon cut mine to 3 months because I put up a stink.
  4. Tell them you are having a Lipoma removed, not really a lie since a Lipoma is a fatty mass. I actually had one removed from my stomach 3 months before my sleeve so I just didn't change the story....it works fine.
  5. Milk of Magnesium, & Total Tea worked for me.

    Rookie joining the team!

I had to Stop after 2 classes because the endoscopy found a mass in my stomach, Weight loss surgery was stopped and mass removal was on, they said it was a Gist but luckily it was just a Lipoma (fatty tissue) that had to come out anyway. My Sleeve Dr. preformed the removal and the surgery was very similar to my sleeve surgery. Then I had to wait till I healed inside and out. A couple months later I was back in class and on the 26th of June had my sleeve. The time actually flew by, It seems like just yesterday that I started the process. I feel like a million bucks and down about 25lbs, but it feels like 50 in clothes so far. Besides looking like I was riddled with a machine gun from two surgery's I'm thrilled, very small price to pay for how I feel today.....Time does fly and that past will be a mere memory crowded by new thrills. Good luck to all! Jer

    Sharp pain in solar-plexus area

I have told everyone that will listen, and they all seem a bit perplexed. They have recommended trying different temperatures, done that, make sure I'm taking both of my prilosec each day, doing that, and they say it should get better....hoping for that.
  8. I had the sleeve June 26th and am having a very hard time drinking or eating anything (warm, cold, puree, or liquid) because when it reaches my solar-plexus area i get a very sharp pain until it passes thru that area unless of course I'm taking my oxycodone. It makes it very dificult to get in my liquids and Protein unless I stay drugged and then I sleep to much and can't drink while sleeping.....I am really hoping that someone might know about this problem and have some suggestions for me.....other than that I am thrilled with everything, best wishes to everyone and thx so much. Jerry
  9. Is there anything you can do pre-opt to lessen the gas pain post opt?

    June 22

June 26th sleeve, can't help but wonder if I shouldn't give it one more try without the surgery, thinking hell if I can do a 2 week liquid diet I can do anything. Then I fall out of denial and return to earth. I need this, want this, and gonna do it and do it well. cheers to all. Jer
