I've been thin most my life. At 32 yo, I had to have an emergency hysterectomy. From there, my metabolism seemed to decline in stages. I've gained and lost the same 30 lbs multiple times, but now at 43 yo, I can't get it to budge. I've tried many diet and exercise routines, but now nothing works except the extreme diets that are unhealthy or those that I'm not able to maintain for long periods. I'm exhausted from thinking/worrying about what I'm going to eat. 
 
After meeting someone who had a gastric sleeve, I started my research. This could be for me!  After much research, I decided to have the surgery and started saving my money. 
 
My surgery is scheduled for July 2015, and I'm anxiously awaiting to start my weight loss journey.
