  1. I met with a cardiologist yesterday. I definitely feel better after seeing him. He believes having two major surgeries in 8 months has played a huge role. My passing out, dizziness and low heart rate is being caused by 3 things: surgeons using steroids during and after spine surgery has caused my adrenal system to be out of whack which is causing my body to take longer to acclimate to positional changes, dehydration from the ability to swallow much for the last 4 weeks and the nerve in my cervical spine that was impacted and controls heart rate is irritate. He said it is like a perfect storm. An endocrinologist can help me with the adrenal gland issue. Of course Imy throat is getting better making hydration a bit easier and I just have to give that nerve some time to heal. My heart looks very health! Thanks for all the well wishes!

  3. Nervous today. I meet with a cardiologist to see why my heart rate is so low and I keep feeling dizzy/lightheade. I passed out a week ago. All of this following major spine surgery. Off all medications and it is still happening. I hope they don't find anything too scary but need answers. Wish me luck!

I am interested in seeing how people will respond when they see me at work on Monday. It will be 3 1/2 weeks since I have been on leave and 27 pounds smaller. I am sure that I will get those looks!!! Can't wait, I didn't share my surgery with anyone.

@MrsSugarbabe, what is the name of your iron supplement? Our team requires that we take B 50 and it has made such a difference in my life. Thanks for the reminder!! It is easy to get off track. Remembering all of the food, protein, vitamin and water requirements is a full-time JOB, lol.

Thanks everyone. @imbo12182. You are absolutely right. On the day that I posted this status, I had NOT started taking my vitamins, only the multi vitamins. I realized that I forgot all about them. I started taking all them two days ago and actually feel awesome!!

I had success been in a relationship for over 3 years and we REALLY took our time getting to know each other, which I love. Yes there were plenty hit and misses. Just be sure to be very selective, listen, have lots of convo and watch out for any warning signs. Don't settle, don't rush & have fun.

  21. Had a rough day yesterday. As most of you know I recently had cervical spinal fusion via my throat. It has been very hard to eat or drink for 2.5 weeks now. Apparently my heart rate has been very low and I let myself get dehydrated. Well, I stood up yesterday took a step and woke up on the floor. Not a good thing for someone in a neckbrace with 3 new fusions. Ugh! Spent the day in the er getting fluids. Now they want me to see a cardiologist because of my unexplained low heart rate and over 51 age. My heart rate did not improve even after I was rehydrated. Luckily I was wearing my brace and other than being sore, I feel a little better today. I am thankful that I did not really cause a huge problem. Moral of the story, don't let yourself get dehydrated no matter what! And how did your Saturday go!
