  1. I've had a fusion that failed. Also 4 others that have failed. A crushed sciatica too. Leg pain and on a cane. But since I started this, I have a new outlook. After my exercise class I've decided to start them now and it's helping me physically. Failed back surgeries is what has caused my weight gain, but not gonna let it anymore. I do get epidural injection every 6 months in rounds of 3. They aren't a fix, but a little help. Getting Facet's on wed's. Had them after one of my surgeries and they helped before
  2. Congrats all! So glad for you Started a September sleevers fb. Septembersleevers@ face book.com
  3. I wish someone would start a fb for September sleevers. Need lots of support. Tried to bond with some from my Drs office Thursday, but none were September sleevers
  4. Yes they gave to me at my first visit. Done them all months ago.
  5. Already did my blood work, endoscopy, stress test. All I have left is 2 more nutritional appointments, and I see my surgeon again next week.
  6. Had appointment 4 of 6 today with nutritionist. Almost ready, but still going slow seems. Hanging in there tho
  7. Agreed, if we could lose 40 lbs more easily we wouldn't be struggling so much. Mine doesn't require weight loss either. Just no substantial increase. But because I don't eat breakfast I added a protein shake. May as well change now. Also started the easy exercises last month after the class. I need to because after 5 failed back surgeries, I need to strengthen my body too.
  8. Tami Miller 35 I am in Ashland, ky
  9. Angela80463 maybe replace breakfast with a shake. And start watching things your eating and drinking already
  10. same with mine....its frustrating I want /need to plan around it but can'tEvery office is different... I got approval before my preop testing was done. My office doesn't schedule surgery until after the sleep study test... after I'm scheduled, they well schedule my NUT visit and my anesthesia visit. So the ball isn't rolling until after Aug 7... my sleep study. But I still have to give my job 30 day notice and start my FMLA... that the only draw back, you have to wait more time, on top of the time you've already waited, because they don't schedule until after a certain test.... lol...but my surgery will be in September, hopefully the first or second week. i got a pre approval in the beginning, but they say at my Drs office not a final one there until all tests, appointments looked over by insurance. Wth? I have anthem bcbs but their all different I've seen. I guess the bright side of mine is only a $250 deductible.
  11. I haven't had any side effects with it. Been on it 2 months. It did take a whole month to take effect good, but well worth it
  12. I like them all so far. Only one I haven't tried is chicken soup.
  13. My Drs office doesn't put thru for final approval until last nutritional visit. I started this April 1st.
  14. Eggplantmassacre I am thinking on the beach today my last summer over weight. Lol
  15. So far the unflavored, and chocolate with the sf light jello
  16. Been mixing the unjury protein mix with sf fat free vanilla pudding. Really thick, but tasty. Also been taking the unjury vitamins. Really big and nasty aftertaste, but no problem
  17. Got my samples from unjury today. Tried the vanilla with orange juice, really good. Bought unsweetened vanilla puddings to try others with too. Also got the vitamins from them. Yes their huge, but not too awful tasting.
  18. Pantherbyhabit, I'm in Ashland, Ky. Kings Daughters Hospital, Dr Roderick Tompkins

  20. Know you'll be glad to go home
  21. Agreed! Mine isn't as low as yours, but mine is 36.7 and have heard similar things from ppl. They don't understand, and I don't care! The person that is NY biggest supporter agrees with me, my husband, and that's all that matters to me. ☺
  22. Congrats everyone in getting to that side. Can't wait to be there too
  23. We're all here!! Stay strong, you're gonna be in the other side too. Best wishes
