  1. does anyone actually no any info about re stretching your stomach, i had a check up other day and had a telling off because i told the nurse i added a drop of soda water to a glass of wine, i no were not allowed fizzy but surley u would have to drink fizzy all day every day to stretch your stomach
  2. i dont know about anyone else but i have been big all my life, tried every fad diet going and nothing ever seemed to work, a few pounds would come off here and there, then would all go back on plus more. i started my journey for a gastric sleeve never thinking i would even be accepted, it never really sunk in until the day of surgery, i also used to think there is no way this surgeon can change the amount i eat as my appetite was horrendous, its only hit me these last few days when i realised my clothes are hanging off me and look silly!! well anyway had a weigh in today and have lost 91lbs since surgery which will be 4 months ago on july 31st, never in all my days thought i would everr loose so much weight, boost my confidence and live a healthier happoer life, if anyones in doubt about surgery my moto is go for it and dont look back, best decision ive ever made, only regret is not having it done yrs ago! xx

    Initial Consultation with Surgeon

my surgeon told me that my gallbladder removal op had a higher death rate than a gastric sleeve, and if i compare the two recovery was much easier after the sleeve, go for the surgery its brilliant, my only regret is that i didnt do it yrs ago,

    Normal progression ?

I have been told to weigh weekly rather than everyday,
  12. Im having the same problem, but after eating a few spoonfulls the pain starts then i have to completly empty my stomach for the pain to go, im seeing my surgeon today to see wot he says, i hope it goes cus otherwise ive made a huge mistake, mealtimes r dreadfull at the moment
  13. I lost 12 pounds in the first 2 wks and was over the moon with that. I want mine to come off slowly as im worried about saggy skin. A pound off is better than a pound on

    When will the pain go?

That is wot its like jamie, feels like somethings stuck, must be the tightness, when u was at that stage did u stil move on to the thicker foods? Tuesday is my 3rd week so should be having lumpy foods but dont no if i will get it down without hurting, should i stay on week two for a bit longer
