I was hoping it would be gone after the surgery but unfortunately I still have it, though not strong has before. God willing it will get better where I don't need the Nexium anymore. Will tell you I don't regret the decision of having the surgery! Hope you feel better soon! Definitely call the doctor. Blessings....
  11. Hi guys, I am always seeing in tweeter that one can get a card from surgeon so that we can order from the children's menu. What is this all about?! My surgeon didn't give me one...

  14. Hi again! My travel agent advised me I can take my Protein cartons and diet food (tuna kits, bars, protein chips, etc ) in a luggage and just claim it with my other luggage. Will not be allowed as a carry on, which I knew. But at least they will go with me. I can also send via UPS everything and the hotel will hold package until I get there. Don't know if you have that option. My daughters field trip to Washington DC will be hectic from place to place and I refuse to eat the wrong foods during the day. During the evening I will be able to go to restaurants and have Soups. I still don't tolerate a lot of foods especially red meats or salads! Enjoy yourself on the trip. Eat smart and drink lots of water!! Blessings!
  15. Good question. My daughter has a field trip to Washington DC and I am going to contact the travel agent. I want to take my liquid protein shakes and snacks. Was thinking of taking an extra bag and let airline place it in cargo. Will post once I find out.
  16. No, with me I am putting my clothe away in plastic boxes. Am afraid to give them away!!!! I need to change this attitude of mine. I still wear a few, don't want to spend money on new clothe because those too will be big on me soon!!!
  17. Hi! Has anyone taken Ducolax gel caps! I am 3 month post op and very constipated. The nurse practitioner told me to take 2 gel caps everyday but not at same time. Am terrified that it will get stuck!
  18. You look great!!!! I had my surgery March 31, 2015. Went into surgery at 229 after doing the shakes. Am 11 weeks post op and have lost 50 pounds. Am still having a hard time eating as I don't cook and basically am on the same foods. My husband cooks but am afraid to eat the food. I hope, by the grace of God, I can be successful too! Blessings.,,
  19. Walk, walk & walk!
  20. Hi guys, I am 10 weeks post-op and losing hair. Have lost 50 pounds, YAY! But the hair loss scares me. Isn't it kind of soon for me to be losing so much hair? Blessings...
  21. I cruised with NCL and was able to walk in the ship with my Protein shake cartons and Water cases. I left from the Port of Miami.
  22. Hi everyone, Got back from the cruise! I am 2 1/2 month post op. Let me start with the abundance of food was not the problem at all. I was never hungry. Nor did it bother me seeing others EAT!!! Since I was afraid of dumping or not tolerating the food I was basically eating tuna salad, cheeses, Soups, crackers, and my Premier Protein shake. Whenever my family and I dined in their specialty restaurants I would order Soup. Like I said I do hav issues chewing and tolerance of the food. I went thru NCL and I brought in 2 cases of Water and a case of my liquid Protein Shake. Always got off with my portable cooler that had water, tuna kits, shakes, and a banana. And lost 2 pounds!!! Hope this helps for those of u cruising so soon after surgery.
  23. Take care of yourself after surgery. Do exactly what your doctor and nutritionist says. And you will be good to go!!!! Good luck to you on your WLS surgery!
