  1. By not following what you were advised...you will have that horrid beat look that you see people that have had this surgery and do not follow the directive given. You are taking supplements and Protein because there is no way to sustain yourself without it...you might feel ok now but you are in for a world of disappointment down the road. You cant take the hair and tooth loss back...if you are ok with dentures and wigs rock on
  2. Awesome!!! But dont invest too much! Just buy a couple to get you by...you will be out of the new clothes before you know it Ok last night I took my sons to JCP for new jeans and as I was checking out the "bold" salesgirl says "Now we have the kids covered, what's Mom gonna do about those sagging pants she's wearring?" I just laughed. Haha. Yep I'm 6 weeks postop and down 44 lbs. Time to invest some $$ in myself. (Just a little). No doubt this is soooo worth it all. Love it!!
  3. No regrets other than not doing it sooner. Take it one day at a time...you will have a whole outlook on life once the weight starts coming off...you will be feeling soo good about yourself!!
  4. I am currertly 193 and wearing a 14...but depends on the jeans...some of my 14s are too big...and I have gotten into some 12s

  9. I was released to cardio and lifting 4 weeks post op I have been going to the gym daily since January If you are just starting an exercise habit...start slow and work yourself up. Challenge yourself cardio on bikes and ellipticals or treadmill...either by uping your time or beating your distance in that time each week. Good luck
  10. My surgery was 7/22/15 The day of surgery was the worst for me...regrets, crying etc...but I could not have anything...no Water, no candy, nothing in my mouth but a swab for the inside of my mouth. My nurse assured me it was the worst and she too was a sleev patient and I will feel better after my leak test the next day. She was right...I have had no complications...no issues. I have taken no pain meds since leaving the hospital. I went back to work the 6th days after surgery. I would not change a thing...I have followed every instruction to the T. I think everyone is different and people have different tolerances.
