I had gastroplasty 22 years ago, which is almost the same as band. I am having a revision to bypass in 3 weeks. I lost a lot of weight and have only gained about 35 back but I am fat still so I don't consider it a success. My mesh has eroded and I can eat some things but not others. It seems like my stomach handles junk food just fine and rejects healthy meals. It is really weird but I get lots of reflux and major stomach issues. I am excited about the revision too but I also feel like I will be a failure again. Trying to stay positive. It is a new lease on life!! And health!! -
