I went out for sushi tonight at my favorite sushi restaurant. I was sleeved 3/1/16. I had 3 pieces of sashimi (butterfish/Walu) a Dipped in a bit of low sodium soy. No rice.. Just fish and it was great! I didn't have any issues. I had been craving sushi for a week. The only downside was even though I ply dabbed in the soy sauce, I found waiting the hour to drink was torture.

I think this is a good question. Weed gives me the munchies bad. Last time I smoked out though I ate celery with a little bit of hummus and tried to chug Water. I don't think I will get high after surgery though because the temptation to overeat would be too much.

I had this same problem. A stall at 3 weeks is very common. It will pass. One thing that helps me is drinking more water- if you can. I know it's hard to get all the Water down. I'm 8 weeks out.

I notice that If I don't stop eating soon enough I will get nauseated. Maybe you are getting too full.

I might be a scheduled for June. My last appointment with my weight loss program is May 12th and my last surgeon appointment is June 4th. They said it takes 4 to 6 weeks after the last appointment.

I have been partaking since 2 weeks post op. And up to two weeks before the surgery. I lost 50 pounds preop, while smoking and 50 post op, while smoking.
I normally have a treat planned for my evening snack, the no sugar added fudgecicles or sugar free dark chocolate pudding, so I plan for possible munchies, most times I dont notice munchies though, depends on the strain of marijuana. Hope that helps.

It was appealed, and now it's approved. New date is March 25, so I am to start back on liquids tomorrow. I'm so happy but I need to wrap my head around that this will happen. Thanks for all the support.

So I have to ask, what would be your outcome if you didn't have the surgery? Yes, we plan our food, a lot of us weigh and measure it, log what we eat, but then we carry on...to a healthier life than before the surgery. What is different? Dieting will get you this far....and then there's that slippery-slope that pulls us back to being overweight. How many times do we have to diet, then fail....before we say "enough, already!" and have the procedure that we can use as a TOOL that will help us keep from sliding backwards? If you think it is easy, READ THE POSTS! It is not the easy way out, we still have to fight to maintain, but at least there is now a tool in the box that we can use as a lifeline, IF WE USE IT PROPERLY. Read what those of us go through everyday; we still battle, but look at the success rate for those who are using the tool properly. If you're looking for an easy way out, there is none, not even with surgery. And if you're like me and the many others on this site, you will use the tool and lead a slimmer, healthier lifestyle for the rest of your life! Good luck in your decision-making!
