  1. I'm proud of you for being proactive at your age. You have your whole life ahead of you as a healthy person. Endless possibilities lay ahead. Best of Luck.
  2. Take each day or meal at a time. Perfectly normal part of this journey.
  3. For the first several months the smell of cigarette smoke on someone would make me nauseous. And some perfumes. I was very sensitive to odors. But it is much better at five months
  4. I'm 4 months out and still cold. Not uncommon with weight loss I was told.
  5. I would wait and not stock up as your taste buds will change. I did this pre surgery with protein shakes and there was a few brands I did not like after surgery. So I had over 8 4 pkgs of protein shakes I can't drink.
  6. This is your journey. I remember wanting cottage cheese too. I could only eat two bites as it was so filling. So don't be surprised if it is not what you thought it would be. Good luck

  8. I'm 58 and had never been in the hospital. I was terrified of going under anesthesia. I turned it over to God and my surgeon. It is normal to have fears. But the surgery has saved my life. I'm 4 months post and each day is a new me. Praying for you.

  14. I found a multi vitamin that just melts in you mouth it is made by Nature Made and I got it at Walmart. Chewable kind of made me sick after surgery.

  16. Chapstick was a must..loose clothes to go home in is really all you need
  17. That is so wonderful...going to get even better.
  18. I would mention it to your surgeon and team.
  19. My surgeon warned me that it may happen. It did twice within my first month. It is normal.
