Dried grapesLooks great. What are sultanas??

-
1 cup oats
1 cup coconut
3 scoops (90g) chocolate Protein powder
Tablespoon cocoa powder (or more to taste)
Blend together in food processor
Add in 1 cup sultanas
1/2 cup prunes
Blend again. Add a little Water at a time till it looks moist but still separated. ( you can also add some coconut oil if you like)
Stop and make into balls.
Makes 30 balls at 50 calories each
The amount of Water is dependent on the fruit. So go slow. If you can squish the mix and it stays together then it's right. You don't want it too wet

4 months out
Breakfast - 100g of greek yogurt mixed with vanilla Protein powder and 1/2 a banana or some berries or i have the fruit with Protein Powder and Water in a shake
lunch - all sorts of things today i had a beef and vegie Soup, tomorrow is chicken laksa, i often have the little tin tunas with salad or chicken meatballs with salad

I also have three snack a day. These are usually things like roasted chickpeas, Protein balls, sliced deli turkey, 1/4 of a Quest bar - approx 50 calories a serve.

Tries to understand how having a food addiction and having no issues with food can be congruent.... Oh wait they can't....
Gina I'm sorry you are frustrated, sick, sad, angry and all the rest...
But the first step is being honest with yourself. You have said a number of contradictory things about yourself and your journey. You are placing blame because you can't cope with the idea you played a role in your situation.
Your lashing out at others while understandable is not acceptable

I'm almost 4 months out and had a niggle or regret the other week cos I was in a stall and frustrated. But it passed very quickly. It's a long road and it is going to be bumpy but most of the time I've been really happy with my decision

I refuse to think of less nutritional food as "cheating" or even self sabotage. I have eaten pizza, hot chips and even ice-cream since surgery but I plan them into my day and calories. I am aim eat well 95% of the time so I can occasionally indulge.
In some ways this is harder because the tempting foods are present and they aren't 'banned'. But in life there is always temptation and yummy not so nutritious foods available and I'd prefer to work on my self control than ban food or feel guilty when it's eaten

I had some nausea in hospital which was managed with some meds. Minimal pain. Was on paracetomol when i left hospital. No vomiting etc.
I was sore for about three weeks but nothing horrible. I was tired for about the same amount of time

Homestly if you have been backed up for a while you will likely need a supplement or med first to clear everything out

Im 2 months out from surgery and 50kg (110lb) down from my top weight ( 1/2 lost before surgery). First few weeks were a bit rough, but now i feel AMAZING. It just keeps betting better. I still have the same again to lose (or a little more) but the change so far is fantastic

You arent really doing the pre op diet if you are eating things you shouldnt ???? you are likely eating more calories than your surgeon wants
