I AM FREAKING OUT. I just got home from a loooong day of class (12 hours) and I weighed out of curiosity... and I am UNDER 200! I'm glad no one was here with me to see me breaking down and sobbing like a toddler but my goodness! I can't believe I'm here, and it actually happened! I don't know that I necessarily thought I was "big boned" or whatever - but it has been a bit of a surprise as the weight comes off to feel how delicate my frame really is underneath all that fluff. feeling pretty girly these days. :-)

Pre-Op appointment with the surgeon tomorrow - fingers crossed I get a surgery date and it's within a few weeks!

I was 201.0 this morning when I weighed. Onederland is so close I can taste it!

What's with all the bitching about not losing 10 lbs. a day? At least three new whines are posted daily. I have come to the conclusion that the psychologists who do evaluations are asking the wrong questions and not paying attention.

while in the waiting room before my blood draw this morning, had an elderly gentleman tell me I was the best looking thing he'd seen all morning. Made my day. His wife, however, did not seem pleased. haha

In the middle of nearly three weeks of non-stop, RUQ pain, I've seen the gastroenterologist, had blood work and a CT scan of abdomen and pelvis. The blood work indicates inflammation (I coulda told 'em that), but the CT scan was clean. Next is a visit to a cardiologist for clearance for endoscopy on Thursday. Endoscopy should be declared unconstitutional, but it makes more sense than other options (upper GI series, whatever that is).. I'd rather have low level, cheesy men dance for me.

It makes me so sad to be locked out of the vets' forum for another 6 months. Being over a year out, I no longer really belong in the newbie forum except to offer encouragement and advice. People I can actually relate to are all hanging out in the cool kids room.

Spent yesterday in the ER. Incision is open, weeping and infected. Sometimes I just shake my head about what some people think is all mighty important...
