  1. I actually have a difficult time eating "too much". I get full very quickly, and if I approach the point where I would be over eating, I have problems swallowing any more food. I was sleeved on March 11, 2015 and have never vomited after surgery. Maybe taking smaller bites and consuming your food slower may help your situation. Good luck! Jim
  2. I had my surgery on March 11, 2015. I have lost 61 pounds to date, but I stopped losing for several days at the 3-4 week stage. After resuming my weight loss, over the past few days I have actually put on 2 pounds. I am a little nervous, so I am getting back to basics and starting to weigh my protein to see if I can jump-start the process again.
  3. I had my surgery on March 11, and had diarrhea at least 10 times a day for the first 5 or 6 days. To date, I have only had one or two days that my stool has been normal. My doctor sent me to the ER where I had a CAT scan and blood test; no problems were found. I do not know if this is normal or not, but my doctor is not too concerned at this point. Call your doctor and let him/her decide what you need. Jim
  4. I have waited patiently (ok, maybe not so patiently at times) to get to this point. My journey towards my Gastric Sleeve surgery started on 7/29/2014, and tomorrow, 3/11/2015, I will have my surgery and begin the rest of my life. I will admit that I am quite a bit more nervous than I thought I would be, but at 46 years old, I believe the time is right. I did well on my 2-week liver reduction diet, losing about 20 pounds. Are there any last suggestions before I head to the hospital tomorrow morning?
