This may seem like a stupid question, but can all the air my CPAP pumps in to my mouth, and therefore my stomach, stretch my pouch? I've had the pressure settings adjusted a couple of times as I've lost wait but I still feel like I wake up kind of distended and very burpy. Does anyone know if that also effects the pouch?

Does anyone have the problem where drinking Water makes them burp excessively? It doesn't happen when I eat, just when drinking water. I don't use a straw, I don't take giant gulps and I go fairly slowly. Yet I burp like a maniac. I asked my doctor about it and she said go even slower. The problem with that is that if I went any slower, the only way I'd get all my water in is if I did nothing else all day except sip. Despite that, I gave it a try and it made no difference.

Thanks for all the advice! Looks like I have a lot of options!

Hi! I'm new to this forum. I'm a month out from gastric bypass and I wanted to weigh in. The scale I had said I'd gained 36lbs in 2 weeks! Seeing as how I've lost several inches I don't think that's accurate. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a decent scale that's not outrageously expensive?
Making Protein Shakes Last
in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

In preparation for surgery I got in the habit of making a Protein Shake very morning. I actually found several recipes that I really loved. Now three months after surgery I'm struggling, not because my tastes changed but because of quantity. The Protein Shakes I make just don't save well and even though I've cut back the ingredients, I always have some left over. Do other people have this problem? How do you handle it? I miss my Protein shakes!
