    Carbs Before Workout

I keep reading every where how it's important to have good carbs before a workout. I've been eating what I call my Cherry Garcia concoction (0% plain Greek yogurt with a few cherries & dark chocolate chips) an hour before my workout, but it occurs to me that that may not be enough? Here's the nutritional breakdown: Cal: 107 Fat: 3g Carbs: 13g Sugar: 10g Fiber: 1g What has worked for you? I've discovered I can't do anything to heavy or I'll have to wait more than an hour to exercise.

@@Chrystee haha I've always wanted a stalker! When I went on vacation to the middle of nowhere this summer, I definitely brought a tupperware container full of Protein powder with me. I also brought a 12 pack of Quest bars. haven't tried the power crunch bars is because they're higher in calories and lower in protein than the quest bars. They look really good though! @@OKCPirate looks like a good haul! I've decided on two quest bars and a tuna to go pack. @@Daisee68 that's good to know. I may have to try those!

How Do You Track Your Food?

The Jawbone Up app. Even though I wish the Jawbone had better bells and whistles, the app is the reason I haven't changed to a Fitbit. I love love the app.

    Calories at 8 Months?

    Calories at 8 Months?

@@foodfighter78 well I guess I'd follow his instructions. While it's good to know what other people have done, for me, my doctor's instructions are the most important. @@smallbmi good to know! Calories at 8 Months?

@@foodfighter78 he didn't have any suggestions about calories? Meeting with the nutritionist is definitely necessary because they can be much more specific, but maybe your doctor can give you at least a ballpark figure while you wait for the appointment.

@@Chrystee that is frustrating. I had my appointment today and while I did lose this month, it was only 1/3 of what I've been losing monthly. So I'm going to drop the calories back to the 1000 - 1100 range and see if that makes a difference.

    Calories at 8 Months?

@@Alex Brecher thanks! I think the reason I asked is because it sort of feels on the edge of my control. I've been hyper vigilant about everything and I'm worried that the rise in calories is a sign that I'm slipping a bit and perhaps giving into cravings more. I seem to be having a lot more cravings than usual too, which also makes me anxious. I do exercise a lot, which may be why I'm more hungry than usual, but I can't say that for certain. I weigh in at the doctor's tomorrow so I'll get to see if the added calories have had any effect.
