  1. And you wear it well!! Looks super.
  2. I am so glad I came across this post. I am in my 4th day post op and really started doubting weather my Dr. actually removed any of my stomach!. I feel great I can drink my protein shakes and drink all my required liquids without any problem. I've actually had hunger pains.....hoping that when I transition to pureed foods I do get full feeling without consuming a large amount.
  3. I was sleeved on Tuesday 12/15. I have not vomited at all. My understanding is the anesthesia is what makes people sick, fortunately I have never had adverse effects from anesthesia. I'm on day # 4 and feeling wonderful. So, I think in aday or so you should be feeling pretty much back to normal. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
  4. I get sleeved on the 15th. 11th day of the liquid diet, first 3 days I had a horrible headache, after that pretty smooth sailing. Good luck to everyone out there anxiously awaiting the big day!

  6. Hi! I am halfway through my 4th day! I now know I've got this! It's proven true for me PayItForward, after day 3 I'm feeling much better than the first couple of day. I did have a headache which FINALLY went away this morning, my stomach feels fine and I'm NOT hungry! Feeling just fine!! Now anxiously awaiting for 12/15 to get here!
  7. Hi Lura Dean, Yes, I find that frustrating too! And your right.....we will get through this. One more step of learning how to change eating habits.
  8. WLSResources/ClothingExch, I think being a little worried and seeking advise and recommendations IS being grown up. Yes, I am continue to tell myself "You can do anything for 2 weeks" and am keeping a positive attitude. Just thought there someone who was worried and been through this may have some insightful words or recommendations.
  9. Hi 2Goldengirl, Sorry I was not clear on why I am nervous. I've read a lot of post regarding the 2 week pre op liquid diet and so many people have claimed they have cheated.....they just get way to hungry. During the last 6 moths of my diet I have had nights where I was awaken by my stomach growling and near nausea from being hungry. I DO NOT want to fail this 2 week liquid diet, and am looking for tips and suggestions from anyone who has dealt with the 2 week liquid diet. So I guess I'm nervous about failing.

  11. Hi, Just received aetna approval following a 6 month required diet and meetings with a nutritionist. So, my journey so far has left me down 65 lbs! I'm very excited but VERY nervous about this 2 week pre op diet. I'm looking for any suggestions or thoughts that will help me get through this. Thanks!!
  12. Hi, I have just started the beginning of my 6 months. I have lost 59 lbs. I was told the more you loose the better, this shows that you will be successful after surgery. My Dr. said people who have a hard time restricting their selves prior to surgery have a harder time post surgery and healing controlling their food intake as well. He say's the surgery is still important after loosing the pre- surgery lbs due to the statistics show that people who loose weight have a 97-98% of gaining it back plus some eventually. I am anxious to see if Aenta approves my surgery.
