working out and not losing weight

I eat every 3 hours to get more calories and to make my protein. I sip all day, to make the fluid goal but I do it. I am about 800 calories a day. 7 weeks post op. I do cardio 5-6 times a week.

Need help from other busy working Moms!

I have a full time job, and 2 young kids with tons of activities. Planning is the key. You have to make time to prepare your food for the week, and pack Snacks and food, so you can eat every 3 hours or so. I also have a Water bottle, and track my Fluid intake on my fit bit app. I use my fitness pal for food and exercise. Its a commitment for sure, and it is hard, because I always put my kids first. I have to say to myself, you need time too, for a healthier you! Last night, since I did not make it to the gym. I decided I would go walking. My 4 year old lol, blocked the door, and said NO MOMMY!!! , but I gulped and went anyway. My hubby said he was fine about 30 seconds after I left. I walked 2 miles and felt great! XOXOXOX

  8. scale has not moved since Monday, but I am really low on pants that fit, so I had to wash the pants I wore Monday, and they are looser than Monday, and the shirt I bought on Saturday a little tight, now fits great. Weird, right?

    Weird Thing Happening!

I am slowly running out of clothes. I gained all my weight while pregnant, most with my first and then more with my second. I am just about at the weight I was after giving birth to my first son, so I have a whole bunch of size 8/10 pants med/small shirts, and then nothing until size 18, which I am in now and are starting to get big. SHOPPING TIME!

    Getting Enough Water

I've read you should drink 1/2 to 1 ounce of water for every pound you weigh. If you live somewhere hot or are very active, aim for the upper end. Drinking too much water can dilute the sodium in your body which can cause problems like nausea, confusion, headaches etc. Low sodium (hyponatremia) can be very serious. I read in my book that you also get water from food. like chicken is 60% water, but we are eating less and therefore need more fluids.

  25. I hiccup too. I am struggling with the restriction too. I am on soft foods and I am about 4 weeks out. I eat a piece of string cheese I feel full, but not restricted. I ate one egg for dinner last night, again, felt full. I have been eating 2 oz of fish for lunch with a few bites of cailflower mash. Some people can eat 2 eggs and 4 oz of meat. Everyone is different. I am steadily losing weight so I guess I am fine.
