  1. Mine is the 16th, too. I'm relaxing this weekend - doing laundry, cleaning up and having a massage tomorrow. Trying to keep my mind from focusing on the surgery. Definitely ready to start the next chapter!
  2. Day 4 seems to be A LOT better than previous days for me thus far. Yesterday I was listless and woozy. Today I snuck in a mini-nap at lunch (maybe 15 mins) and have focused on increasing my Water intake. I feel a lot stronger. I got some good advice today from a co-worker. She suggested I focus on how different my body is feeling through this process - whether it's hungry, tired or cleansed. Realize that this is the beginning of a huge, positive change. My body is feeling that change. And I'm moving in the direction I've been waiting for since November, when I started this process! That perspective motivated me - hopefully it motivates you, too!
  3. Day 2 was a toughie - definitely got hungry/woozy in the evening. I just went for a walk, though, to distract myself. I think the more Water I drink, the better I feel. And I swear nothing has tasted better than veggie broth these past two days! We can do it!
  4. I survived Day 1 - yippee! I found the veggie broth to be my saving grace. Everything else is so darn sweet! definitely a tough transition from "normal" food, but we can do it!
  5. Thanks to all for your responses! It's great to have such a kind and supportive group to bounce ideas off of!
  6. I'm new to the group and am scheduled for surgery on March 16th. Today is my first day of my 2-week pre-op liquid diet. I've only gotten half-way through the day and am already SO hungry! Any words of wisdom as to how long it takes your tummy to "adjust" to just shakes, jell-o & broth? Thanks, fellow sleevers!
