vwdriver95 got a reaction from Niki15 in Struggle to not drink while eating
My doc's rule is no drinking thirty minutes before and after eating. Seems odd at first, but I got used to it. I am still trying to increase my Water intake. I am a steadfast iced tea drinker, always unsweetened, so I have started to make a 50/50 regular and Decaf tea. Trying to be good.

Sassysassypants1, that's exactly how I feel. I specifically haven't told my MIL for just that reason, the woman CAN NOT keep her mouth shut. Just recently I visited with my kids and she made a point to tell my cousin, "She's finally lost some weight you can see." Now isn't that just sweet of her?? Heck no!!!!

vwdriver95 got a reaction from Hope41 in Just Curious about cc you were at for green zone.
I have had only three fills totalling 3.5 mls and I am no where in the green zone. And to be totally honest, it sucks. I have a ten ml band, but this waiting in between fills blows. I am trying to wait patiently for the slightest feeling of restriction, but it's driving me nuts.

vwdriver95 got a reaction from 45678 in To tell or not to tell
I have only told my husband, mother, sister, a friend from church and the friend who told me about the surgeon knows. That's it, no more. I don't need unsolicited opinions of "friends" who have interest in my well being or health.

vwdriver95 got a reaction from Fireflea in Who all did you tell?
I have told my husband (obvious reasons there: insurance bills, driving me to/from hospital, etc.), my sister (b/c she'd be happy for me), my mom (she asked too many ?'s and wouldn't let it go), a friend at church, and a friend who gave me her surgeon's name. That's it, no more. All of my other family and friends know that I am doing Sugar Busters and am having success, but that's all. Right now I don't want or need any more comments about "Why I still wanted the Lap Band if I was having success losing weight?"

vwdriver95 got a reaction from Miss Meg in Banded 2/27/2015
Hi everyone, my surgery went fairly well. But oh, that chest cavity gas was a bear. I really started to appreciate my Gas-x tablets. So far I have had a 2cc fill which I really don't think it has done anything. Looking forward to the next fill in four weeks. My weight also hasn't changed much yet...kinda bumming me out. The only thing that I am doing is continuing SugarBusters diet and walking my neighborhood.

vwdriver95 got a reaction from JustWatchMe in Off/on malodorous flatulence
Thanks JustWatchMe, I haven't had the pleasure of "skinnier butt cheeks" syndrome yet, but maybe one day. Hopefully this will get better, but if not I guess I will continue to laugh it off. I have done that since being a little kid, always found it funny. Thanks again for replying.

vwdriver95 reacted to devillynn in 4 weeks out. Depressed and questioning my choice.
You only lost two pounds in a week but if you lose two pounds every week that is 8-10 pounds a month. Exactly how fast do you want it to come off? It will come off. Drink your 64+ Water each day - hit your Protein mark each day - supplement the solid food with Protein Drinks if you need to - and exercise in some form 2-3 times a week. And stop saying "only" as in "I only lost 2 pounds this week" Celebrate those 2 pounds!!! Because the weight didn't get put on over night so it will take work on your part to get it off and time. Good luck to you.
