hi surgery was 5/5/15 i had 3 fills 1ml, 2ml, .5ml so 3.5 total. i stopped getting fills when the school year started because I'm so bus. i feel like I'm in the red zone in the am, and it is worse when i'm on my period and now that i have a cold. mid day i feel like i'm in the green but sometimes at night i can eat a lot. I'm down about 24lbs, not near goal at all. not sure what I'm going to do now

HELLO GREEN ZONE! Okay guys I went to see the PA yesterday and told him I do not want to do 1ml at a time. We agreed on 2ml so I now have 3ml in a 11ml band and I just threw up. Oh shit! I need to do my research and figure out how to work this thing!

Oh gosh hope41! These ppl are getting like 4ml fills!!! What should we do? Do you think the doc's are taking advantage to get more visits out of us to make more money?

I have all the stuff to do my own fill and seriously want to do it! my PA will only put in 1ml at a time and the office keeps calling to change my apt to schedule it out longer. no wonder that DR said it only helps 50% of the people, maybe it would be higher if he would keep up on his band maintenance!! anybody else do their own fills?

so its been almost a year and your not in the green yet??? yikes! have you lost any weight? I feel like I'm going down this same road!

I told only the bestie that got gastric bypass at the same time, my boyfriend, because he was my ride to the hospital lol, and 2 other close friends. people are to judgmental and have no idea what the band is and don't care to know before they put their 2 cents in.

Hi, I was banded a month ago, and bf my 2yr old. I don't have much advise but the preop diet didn't effect my supply much. Just focus on your fluids, that is the only thing that effects my supply

I had my first fill of 1ml, it made no difference what so ever and my doctor doesn't want me to go back for another fill for a month. I didn't like that at all! I do not want to have to wait for several months to get to the green zone.

it gets so much better! I'm 2 weeks in. that taste is from anesthesia by the time you read this it will be gone

I'm assuming it is the port because the hard lump is next to the 3in scar, the other 4 are very small. but I do hope you are right kate p! I'm so glad to hear that it can be relocated because i would not want it to interfere with a growing uterus! Thank you
