    If you really want the surgery you will easily be able to do it. I was a 20 yr smoker and I am 2 months smoke free. Just put them in the trash. When I felt like i wanted one i cleaned something to stay busy. its unbelievable how much better I feel. Good luck.

    I have been trying to prepare myself so I did 2 protein shakes and a sensible meal. Actually made me feel alot better on top of loosing 12lbs . My Dr only requires a Liquid Diet the day before surgery. But I have decided to do it a week before to get my body adjusted to it and hopefully its not as bad .
