    Gall bladder?

I'm recovering from gall bladder surgery. My doc didn't remove it as I never had issues before surgery. I had an attack that had me in hospital for 3 days. Never again!! I just had it removed Thursday. Recovering nicely, surgery is no where as painful for me as the sleeve was. Good riddance I say!
  2. Oh boy, I was back drinking coffee at 2mths after surgery

    Yep, no issues at all

    Periods

Yes, I was very normal up until surgery then I started having a period every 14 days. I went in for a Hysteroscopy and ever since seem to be back on track. Definitely change in your hormones can mess you up.

    Gall Bladder surgery!

All excellent responses, just what i wanted to hear - thanks all
  7. I'm at 11months and almost at 100lbs lost, (only 50 to go) so happy, however last Wednesday I experienced the worst pain in my life .... Gall bladder attack. Spent three days in hospital, doing ok, not great and i don't want to eat, I have no appetite whatsoever. My surgeon is taking it out next week. Has anyone out there had both surgeries? Are they similar in terms of pain and recovery afterwards? Are you back to eating normally? Has it affected your weight loss? Appreciate hearing from you ????

    ????Is diarrhea only "dumping"?

Wow, you are on solids 3 weeks out? I had to wait till week 9 before I could even look at solids. I never had issues with it but I would imagine the mayo could be the culprit

    Sharp squeezing pain!

Sounds like my heartburn! Do you have Prilosec?

    CT Scan w/ contrast

Oh you were lucky. I agree it tasted very metallic. Poor people sitting near me. Every sip I took I threw up. I was there for two hours, it was miserable plus the pain I was experiencing. Ugh, hope never to have to do that again.

    Gummi Vitamins

I take the adult gummies from Costco. Have done so from day one.
  14. You are lucky. My insurance did not cover this, so all up I am out of pocket at $18k so far. My issue, I didn't have to go this route, but I did. Sour grapes for me though is 5 months later my work just announced they are now including this in our insurance plan. I guess my two years of writing them and bitching will pay off for the next person. You're welcome ????
