  1. I have gotten past my stall. Sw237 cw 187.... not enough fluid was the main culprit and the meds for the swelling and erosion slow down my digestive tract but back on track ,which makes me feel soo much better.
  2. I have been in a stall for longer than I can say.... 8 weeks.... not really sure how to get myself back on track... its very scary to think about. ... I am going back to the basics and hoping for the best
  3. June 8 sleeve here too.... 3 month ck on Friday. I am questioning just how I am doing.... I was putting in 12 to 18 hour days -6 days a week from 2 weeks post op until last week and now I'm feel like I just got off a rollar coaster and dont have any good habits in place other than drinking as much water as I can. I'm now going to be working 2-3 days a week and working on our house while my 3 kids are in school so I am going to try my hardest to get into an exercise routine walking hills around where I live and eating correctly.... I know protein first then greens but am I supposed to stay at 2oz 3xs per day and 1 snack? If do then that's what I will do... I had loads of pre op instructions but thats it for postop. Vits, water, exercise and that diet. Could it be that simple?
  4. They gave me a,special water bottle that only allows small sips at a time. I couldn't drink out of anything for the first 6-7 weeks but that.... I want another one... mold grew in the valve-had to chuck it...
  5. How far out are you? I had to learn to take smaller bites and close my mouth with each bite, then take a deep breath to make the air come back out. If I eat anything in slush form I still have a small issue. Sleeved 6/8/15
  6. Gas x, walk , sf freeze pops and walk- you need to walk a lot in the beginning to get the air out!.
  7. Flintstones have iron. Have to take them 4 hrs apart from calcium with d3 and magnesium. I take extra b7 (biotin) in the a.m. Oh and b12 in a.m. as,well.
  8. My email is goose213@hotmail.com
  9. Eat sugar free ice pops! It will make you feel better quicker and help with the swelling. Counts as 3oz too. I still eat a few a day at 8 weeks out.
  10. You need to know how much of things you need. We need to have 2 multi vits with 18 of iron and 400 folic acid in the morning, then 500-600 calcium citrate with vit d3 and magnesium 1 with lunch, 1 with dinner.... theres debate about what type of iron we need but I am 8 weeks out and labs are goid and I feel good so far.... plus I am a bleeder during surgery so I thought my iron would be low but its great
  11. I puked ip the Bariatric Advantage too!! I take 2 of the Flinstone vits and I am fine -good levels
  12. Im 7 weeks out and in the last couple of weeks my weight loss has picked up and my lack of patience has quadrupled. I'm sick of being a b!+(#..... I know its the hormones getting released out of the fat but Ughhhh I try to keep it bottled but like a tea kettle when its hot its blows..... for my family and friends I hope this chills soon.
  13. I was changed to sleeve a few days b4 my surgery. Love it so far, now that the damn gas is gone...lol

  15. Im slower than all of you. 214 6/10 when I came home. Today 199.....
  16. Im sleeping better. Getting used to "eating". The G.I. bug went through my house and that was pretty rough but my incisions are doing well. I'm rested in the morning. I look forward to being able to lift and pick up heavy stuff etc.... I can tell it will be a little bit still.. . 3 week check up tomorrow....
  17. I got home yesterday, sleeved Monday... I was in a ton of pain and nauseous but I lost blood for some reason.... Anyway doing good and wanted you guys to know that my sensitive system is just fine putting the powdered peanut butter in my shake. It tastes like resses cup. Yummo!!

  20. My "boyfriend " of 15 years thinks its too much of an inconvenience to him. I don't see us staying together much longer. I go Monday 6/8 and I had to ask his boss if he had taken tbe day off to watch our 4 year and he hadn't. I had a hard time with that. ... cried for awhile but better to kniw than never.... my friends and family will be there.
  21. Kbjolley I am on the 8th too..... I am glad we can say anything here. My family just doesn't understand and my other half has started a new business so he's busy all the time.. I look forward to being able to keep up again!
  22. I am glad I read this. I have been having 1 last favorite this or that over the last 3 months of my liver shrinking diet. 4 major cheats.... my surgery is 6/8... I had a king size candy bar tonight.... my belly told me I was a fool...lol. I am looking forward to having a new tool. I have hope for the first time in many, many years. I too had a dietician tell my mom that wls is just a money maker when my nurse mother was looking for honest input..... people regardless of there background dont think about the effect of there words. ...
