Not sure why but I have read countless studies about alcoholism being a direct correlation of weight loss surgery patients.. I know of two people that have had surgeries (one had the sleeve and one had bypass) that are struggling with the use of alcohol and I fear that I could potentially be on the verge.. Has anyone else struggled with this? I also wonder why there is even a connection???

Today was my two year anniversary of my gastric sleeve surgery!! I love to talk about it, if you need any help please feel free to ask!! If I was asked to do it over again or not i would, 100 times over!! It is soooo worth it!! Goodluck to everyone embarking on this journey!! I went from a size 18, 250 lbs.. I now weight 140 lbs and wear a size six!!

I got the sleeve and at 250 lbs at the time of surgery they could "guarantee" 40-60 lbs lost, well I have lost a total of 110 it's not the easy way out it is a push in the right direction, it was the loss of that 40-60 lbs that gave me the ability and confidence to run and it not hurt my joints, it was the push I needed and it was so worth it.. I felt the same way, but it is still hard!!! And it is so worth it!!
