  9. Yeah I figured that was as such... But I drank ALOT even more prior to surgery
  10. Not sure why but I have read countless studies about alcoholism being a direct correlation of weight loss surgery patients.. I know of two people that have had surgeries (one had the sleeve and one had bypass) that are struggling with the use of alcohol and I fear that I could potentially be on the verge.. Has anyone else struggled with this? I also wonder why there is even a connection???
  11. I lost hair for about a year but mine has grown back I have weird uneven lengths of hair where it has grown back (I'm two years out)
  12. Today was my two year anniversary of my gastric sleeve surgery!! I love to talk about it, if you need any help please feel free to ask!! If I was asked to do it over again or not i would, 100 times over!! It is soooo worth it!! Goodluck to everyone embarking on this journey!! I went from a size 18, 250 lbs.. I now weight 140 lbs and wear a size six!!
  13. @dolores3378 you look incredible!! I agree flaunt away!!! We should be proud!!!
  14. I got the sleeve and at 250 lbs at the time of surgery they could "guarantee" 40-60 lbs lost, well I have lost a total of 110 it's not the easy way out it is a push in the right direction, it was the loss of that 40-60 lbs that gave me the ability and confidence to run and it not hurt my joints, it was the push I needed and it was so worth it.. I felt the same way, but it is still hard!!! And it is so worth it!!
  15. My two year anniversary was today!!! I feel like I "flaunt" to much too, but hey we worked hard!! You go girl!!
  16. I'm two years out and I still throw up, regularly... Not sure what's wrong
  17. I am 22, and today was my two year surgery anniversary!! It was the best choice I ever made!!! You will do great! Goodluck (: It's all worth it!!!
