  5. It will get better. I was sleeved 7/17 and a week out I feel 95% normal. I'm still on liquid because I am a bit afraid of starting purée--- I will start it tomorrow through.
  6. Hi! Just be truthful and it will be fine. I answered a questionnaire. He basically wanted to know if I was mentally prepared for the surgery, if I had a history of depression, and if I was able to handle the ups and downs of post op. The appointment was about 30 minutes. It wasn't bad at all! Don't be afraid. It will go well :-) Good luck!
  7. Luckily I have been popping since I came home Sunday (surgery was Friday). Good luck!

  13. Thank you all! Today I did #2 and having taken Fiber for constipation yet. I am on Protein shake #2 now. Drinking it 2 ounces every 20 min. Haven't been able to drink more than 4 oz Water due to drinking shakes. Hopefully I get better with it. And yes these past few days are the worst. To top it off I got my menstrual same day I came back from hospital. Positive thoughts to everyone enduring this. It's so painful and uncomfortable.

  16. Hi all! I have been taking liquid Centrum multi and wellesse liquid Calcium. Realized that the multi has like 50% of DV of Iron so shouldn't take it within 2 hrs of calcium. This doesn't work for me... So any recommendations on liquid multi and calcium?
  17. It's tough!! Really tough but we can do it!
  18. So I am in all liquid and 1 meal( low fat meal) diet for preop. The first week I did really well and followed the guidelines then the weekend hit....:-( I cheated... Yup...I cheated. (Let the good ol' BP gallery of finger pointing begin) But I realized a few huge things through this weekend. 1. I fucked up--- I am human. I need to build the muscle to not allow head hunger to take over. I am stronger than that! I can and will be able to do what I have to do for my health. Let's work on being the best me for what's left of this. 2. This last week of preop (surgery Friday July 17) will be perfect!! I will not only try my hardest but I WILL follow through and be consistent. Consistency has been one of my issues with weight loss management all my life. This time is different and I can not go back to old habits. I can not allow myself to go back there. 3. This is real. Up until this weekend I don't believe it truly hit me (in my heart of hearts). I was going through the motions and saying/doing all the right things to go through this process, but I don't think it HIT me like it's truly happening. This weekend of cheating truly made me realize that I was just cheating myself and that it needs to stop. So for anyone that is in preop diet stage and has or is cheating. Don't be hard on yourself. Use this experience as a way to learn about what needs to not happen. After you cheat, I KNOW you have this pain in your belly and it doesn't feel good. So why keep doing it? You are stronger than food!! Let's kick ass!!!
  19. Anxious and hungry lol I am in preop diet now
