I was sleeved on July 13th, doing much better! Wasn't really nauseous after the hospital and pain was to be expected. I'd say day 5 I started to notice this weird stabbing pinch pain like above the main incision to the right. It got pretty bad I am only comforted by holding it. Mainly it only hurts when I walk, if I'm laying down I barely feel it! One more thing... I don't know if it's possible but did I stretch my pouch already!!!?? I have been drinking a lot! Which I thought was good but I'm only day seven post op and I can drink a whole bowl of Soup broth in about 30 without feeling any sort of full feeling? I haven't felt full yet? That worries me?

The Soups are getting on my nerves!!! I need to chew!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am soo glad to be home, my surgery was Monday and I went home last night! I feel so much better since I got home, feel human again! I already feel like I'm getting better. Nausea and pain is getting much better but it still hurts standing up and sitting up. I threw up only once because I gaged myself brushing my teeth ???? ewww that hurt!!! Lol but doing great today

Tomorrow is finally almost here!!!!! I can't believe it, I have to be there at 8am! But it's around New York City so heading toward the city on a Monday morning is insane so I have to leave around 6:15ish ???? my surgery will be around 10 they said! I'm super excited and nervous and bubbly all at the same time. I'm down 20 lbs though! I will

As of today I lost just shy of 18 lbs!!!!! My surgery is in one week!!!! Monday the 13th and I am sooo excited! My doctor did say I can have a treat day on the 4th so I had hibachi and just ate the veggies, half of my chicken and a bite of rice. Then just a bite of cherry pie that was a very nice break from nothing lol but my dad is in from st. Croix and we've been having a lot of family get togethers this week so lots of food around is definitely making me stronger at my will power, definitely testing me I'm proud to say I have been really good can't wait!
I started at 287 on June 29th and now July 6 I'm 269.1

I get my time today!! Monday is a closely approaching!!! Sooo excited!!

As of today I lost just shy of 18 lbs!!!!! My surgery is in one week!!!! Monday the 13th and I am sooo excited! My doctor did say I can have a treat day on the 4th so I had hibachi and just ate the veggies, half of my chicken and a bite of rice. Then just a bite of cherry pie that was a very nice break from nothing lol but my dad is in from st. Croix and we've been having a lot of family get togethers this week so lots of food around is definitely making me stronger at my will power, definitely testing me I'm proud to say I have been really good can't wait!

Hey guys I'm July 13th here! I started my pre op on the 29th! I can't wait for it to be over! 8 more days for me!!!

So after a year long struggle and being denied once before! I finally got my date, July 13th!!!! I start my liquid diet on June 29th!!! I'm so excited words cannot describe! Although I am still nervous and worried about the liquid diet and post op diet.

I am prepping by eating everything I might ever want before I can't eat it. But I will stick rigidly to the 2 week pre op diet I was prescribed. I will actually be glad when it starts. I need the structure. I just want it to be surgery day already.

Hey surgery buddies mine is July 13th and I start the pre op diet on June 29th! I am sooo excited and terrified at the same time!!! What are your worst fears? Mine are definitely that I won't stay on track after surgery and the pre op diet! ????
