  14. Lexiemia I am having revision from band to bypass. I have huge reflux issues so bypass is best for me. Although i would have chosen it anyways.
  15. About 4 months for me. The longest was the one month wait for the approval. Why does it take so long i have no clue. It should be 24 hours. Anyways June 23rd is my revision to bypass day
  16. I was approved for one night as as well and im having a revision. Doc says i might be there 4 days. They said not to worry about the one day approval. It is standard that the give one day. They will just call and have it extended if need be.

  19. Surgery scheduled June 2. Now i am nervous
  20. Relieved, excited, nervous and a little overwelmed with thinking all the things i gotta get lined up before surgery. Like getting someone to mow the lawn for a few weeks. Things like that. I have a friend at work that had his at least 6 years ago and he is doing great kept most the weight off. Its great to have inspiration and sites like this for support
  21. Thank you cute1. I am having a revision from the lapband to the bypass. I have had way to many issues with the band for the 13 years i have had it. My reflux is the worst part. I think i had an easier time getting approved because it is deemed necessary.
  22. I just heard that I received approval for my revision surgery through Aetna. It will be covered 90% as well. Soo excited for another chance and to be rid of this awful reflux. Im hoping for surgery the beginning of June. This Xmas i hope to have a new me this year.
  23. Any time u think of cheating just picture ur surgery taking place and how much easier it will be for ur surgeon if u stick with it.
  24. Im in the same boat. I feel like if i didnt call and check up nothing would get done. Ive been through this before with the band as well. I believe it is just too many patients. Meh...it is what it is. Keep going to bat for yourself...eventually we will hit a home run.
