I'm 5'6 as well and goal weight of 130-135. I'm 36 years old and hoping my skin will play nicely with my weight loss! Congratulations on your weight loss!!

    Loosing slowly

What a relief it is knowing I'm not the only one like this. Its almost to a T! I consume about 4-5 small meals\snack. I also am hungry often and have intense acid reflux so I'm thinking that could be it. I had my surgery on 3/31/15 and was at 222 I am at 200 even today and I am about 8 weeks post op. I think I hit a stall last week because I've stayed at 200 last week and this week. I am at about 800 or a little less some days, of calories as well. I am seeing the difference so its still a happy outcome, just wish it could speed up just a little, lol! Good luck and keep me posted how you are doing in the future. ☺
  4. @@purrfctangel our situations mirror each others! I seriously can eat ANYTHING!!! I hate it!! My restrictions s are super slow to react, so it feels like I can get In a lot of food before it actually restricts! I'm stuck at 200 exactly right now. Before surgery I was at 227 on surgery day I was at 222 and am now at 200. I hope that I start getting restrictions sooner and am able to get a handle on it cause it is really discouraging! GL!!
  5. Love your positivity pixieredhead I feel the same way! Stalls are a part of the journey and so we just have to go with the flow! ☺ Congrats on all the weight loss!!
  6. I hope it changes, and soon!! Lol! I am grateful for any loss and am happy to see the scale moving in the right direction, just wish it wasnt so slow!! Keep me posted on how you are doing from time to time, i would really live to hear about your journey and progress.
  7. I realize more now, just how much i have lost. Ive lost more inches than i have pounds. Ive dropped 3 pant sizes and am really feeling the difference now. The key is to just try and be patient which i obviously have had a hard time with. Keep up all the good work sleeve buddies!!

    ISO March sleever buddy

Thank you so much @@TammyDTM you are right! You know during my hour lunch I eat the 1st half hour and then spend the 2nd half walking. I do squats in the restroom during my other breaks just to get some movement and you are so right! I do feel good about myself after doing it. I do need to start incorporating that into my time at home as well. Thank you! Sometimes I think all a person needs is that reassurance and nudge to try harder. Thank you! ????

    ISO March sleever buddy

PS. I caught myself eating a couple teaspoons of ice-cream a couple days ago because of the frustrating, worry that I'm not going to lose much even though my whole eating habits have changed. I luckily caught myself and stopped myself, it's just concerning ????
  10. I had my surgery March 31st and am feeling like I am at such a loss as to if I'm doing things right, am I eating correctly, if I'm losing fast, slow, normal... I would just really love to have someone who was sleeved around the same time who can compare notes with me. I have been posting all over on these blogs but haven't been able to get any feedback from anybody. I was sleeved the 31st of March, I'm 5'5 and had a SW of 229, after pre op diet, day of surgery I was 222, I am 7 weeks post op and weigh 202lbs. People can see the difference, I can see a slight difference, but haven't really even been able to do any new shopping because my inches in my waist have not gone down at all. I'm frustrated.... I feel like at least I'm losing which is a far cry then before the surgery, it just feels so disconcerning to not see those inches in the waist go down. I also ALWAYS feel hungry, very different from just WANTING to eat something because I can differentiate from the 2, my stomach is always growling. I drink tons of water, take all my vitamins, get in my protein. I don't get much exercising in due to long work hours right now, but have plans if signing up for some sort of Aerobics class. Any advice, tips, info, compared notes, or inspiring stories would be very much welcome and appreciated!
  11. Per day? @@CharlotteWebb So you are losing about 7-14 a week? I'm losing about 2 lbs a week! Ive been asking and asking all over these blogs to try and get some advice or insight to this. I would LOVE to know by most others experiences if I'm losing slow, regular etc.? I feel like its slow and I feel like I am able to consume a lot before restrictions happen. Any and all advice is welcome....PS-229 DOS-222 (7)WEEKS POST OP-202, I am 36 years of age and 5'5
  12. I feel like I am losing slowly, but I am losing! The noises my esophagus or throat or whatever it is, IS SO LOUD!!!! lol!! I wonder if that will ever end, and I feel hungry often. My restriction isn't quick like I wish it was, but it is what it is I guess! I am going DOWN in numbers so that's the ultimate goal.
  13. OK, so I guess I am somewhat in the same range, just a little slower. I think it's time that I start incorporating exercise and being diligent about it! Thanks for the encouragement, I will definitely be checking in next month! ????
  14. So I am 7 weeks post op and have lost a total of 28 lbs, but that is pre - op and post op! If I'm counting only post op then my number would be 22lbs in 7 weeks. I'm averaging about 2lbs a week, which is in the right direction but just feels so so slow! I am not doing any strenuous exercise but I am walking a lot. I drink my protein and eat my protein. However, it feels like my sleeve doesn't restrict me as early as it should. In the mornings I can eat an entire bowl of cream of wheat at one time and am hungry again within 2 hours! I take all of my vitamins like I should and am very consciences of what I'm consuming. I do feel like "how much" I'm consuming could be an issue but I'm still only getting about 8-900 calories a day. Any advice from anybody? Am I making a big deal of nothing or do I really have good reason to be worrying right now? Just dont want it to turn into a bigger problem later.... So any and all advice welcome!
  15. Oh gosh, @JaimieLogical you just made me feel 100 times better!! I am just a few days past my 3 week mark and this whole time I have felt the same as crazyffhfan! Water goes rite through and I'm ALWAYS hungry!! I was starting to worry. I did start my semi-solids yesterday night and I did feel that restriction at the end, I think, almost like "if I put another bite in my mouth I'm going to vomit" feeling?
