I just had surgery with Dr Garcia on Saturday. Everyone in our group and the group the day before us is doing well. CER Hospital is very nice. Nurses was very attentive esp the day shift nurses. Dr Garcia is very soft spoken and will answer any question. I think it was about 5 different doctors that saw me before surgery. I will post more at later date. HTH

We absolutely inspect every facility we use prior to sending our members there. Dr. Almanza and his staff made promises to make some major but very necessary changes and he didn't keep up to his end of the bargain. If we can't trust a surgeon to keep their word, we most definitely can't trust him with our members lives!

That's why I don't want to tell anyone. I've told one of my sisters and I honestly don't know if she actually believe me! I don't plan on telling anyone else until I get back. When I told the dietician at my pcp office she gave me this lecture about me being so young (27) and that I can do this on my own. She said that the surgery isn't for people who only need to lose 100lbs but more for people who need to lose 200-300. Smh I don't understand how someone with a masters degree can be so small minded and uneducated.

Yes..that's great!! Maybe we can meet each other once we get there.

Welp, paid my deposit and purchased plane tickets. Dr Garcia on April 25. I'm ready!!
