  1. I have lost 123 lbs! Yay! But I have been dealing with back pain for the last few months. It is not tied to anything internal. It is worst at the end of the day and in the evening. Wondering if it is tied to my loss of fat on my back, or the extra weight on the front of the skin of boobs or my stomach without the fat to support it?? Anyone struggle with this? Not sure there is a remedy! Advil is out obviously!
  2. Mine have been messed up since. Just had an ultrasound that found fibroids, ugh, so I can't really blame the weightloss/surgery!

    Ibuprofen

I gave my ibuprofen to some family members. I take Tylenol, use ice and heating pad for various pains.
  4. Congratulations everyone! Feels good to hear that others are doing well. This thing we did works and has made our lives healthier! I just hit 100lbs lost, I am in shock most days when I get on the scale. I went to a new specialist doctor last week that made an off hand comment when we were discussing something and she said "well you are not obese so..." I was like, what, wait, am I not? Not anymore. Surreal.
  5. I like to have some apple slices with pb2.

What to do with old clothes?

I do consignment, gave some to a friend, gave some to a student in need and also goodwill. Going to take my suits to an organization that outfits women looking for jobs.
  7. I think we are about the same time out. I have been feeling the exact same way that you have. Weight loss has definitely slowed down and I do think that is playing games with my brain!! I eat the same things ever week, buy the same things at the grocery store. I fret all the time that I will binge on something. I have had saltines on occasion, as they were on my ok list early on. However, I can eat many of these-more than I should and that scares me. I have told myself not to buy them, but I have a few times-usually just the one sleeve size. However, I don't eat as many as I would have presurgery and what I would binge on presurgery was a million times worse. I wake up everyday and try to think positive and work my way through a healthy day.
  8. 5 months post, down 95 lbs. best decision I have ever made in my life. Feel better than I ever have or ever knew that I could feel. It's a scary process going into the unknown with risks, but the ultimate reward of health and freedom from being bound by weight is worth everything and more.

    Low Iron Levels

My iron is low also, though D is low too. I started taking "Blood Builder"-iron-6 weeks ago and will have my 6 month blood work next Friday-we will see if it's any better. I think Iron is the most common deficiency for us.
  10. You should be fine, make sure meds are in original containers. Ask for a water immediately when getting on plane or buy one in the terminal to bring on with you. In Atlanta I found a few terminals had a few stores with yogurts/cheese/pepperoni. Greatest part is fitting more comfortably in seat!
  11. 5.5 months and -94lbs! Feel great!

    Motion Sickness Question

Good luck! I did chewables last time-both kinds of Dramamine and it worked great! Flying again in a few weeks and will do the same. You'll be fine eating out. It helps to look up the menu online beforehand if you know where you are going. Also if you have s family member that eats light-maybe they would split an entree with you? I have done well with seafood and veggies or a salad with protein. I also now order a water to get the server from constantly asking if I want a drink! I just don't drink it.

    I need a ham/egg salad recipe

Careful with Ham, it was and still is hard for me to eat! Egg salad for me at the beginning was a tiny bit of mayo, dash of spicy mustard, onion powder, pepper, salt.

    Peanut butter and crackers

I love peanut butter. At this point I am not going to buy it, the last time I did I ate a little too much and was crazy nauseous. And not a lot, just too much for my new body! But, yes, it was good!
  15. The ups and downs and stand stills happen! I weigh almost everyday and I have since surgery. I graph it in myfitnesspal and when I go through a week of up/down/up/down, I look back at my graph and am reminded how normal it is and that my overall graph has gone down over 90lbs in 5 months. Frustrating and real at the same time! Keep up the great work!!
